The Elemental Gear system was recently updated to incorporate the suggestions of our community and democratic player council.
The following previously announced changes have been made:
- Static damage has been removed from items and replaced with bonuses that scale with the player's power.
- Elemental damage and resist affects no longer fully ignore existing Damage Reduction bonuses.
- Physical damage and resist have been incorporated into the Elemental System. Any item or ability that does not specify an element is a Physical item/ability.
