Fixed multiple issues caused by the undo button.

Update 1.5.0.1

Fixed another issue where shields sometimes failed to block oil bomb.

Update 1.5.0 Void Eye

Commanders, Void Eye and the long-awaited Undo button are here! Update 1.5.0 will be carried out at 1:00 PM on May 22 UTC Time, and the server will be updated and maintained for about 1 hour.

New Unit: Void Eye

As a light ground unit, Void Eye can effectively strike heavy units at medium range, and has unique Techs such as [Aerial Mode], [Electromagnetic Armor], and [Suppression Shots].

Let's take a look at the Void Eye Preview Video produced by MAG1, edited by Stoney, and voiced by RoosterPB.

Developer's note: With the addition of Void Eye, the number of units in 1v1 and 2v2 modes has reached 30, while the number of units in 4-Player Brawl and Survival Modes has reached 32. The current unit roster has met our core balance needs. In the coming seasons, we will stop adding new units for a while and instead focus on optimizing existing units and systems, and we will try to add new strategic elements such as defense buildings to the game.

Balance Adjustments

Phantom Ray
  • [High-Explosive Ammo] Price 200 → 100

Sabertooth
  • HP 14801 → 15541 (+ 5%)

Developer's note: The addition of Void Eye introduced a new counter for Sabertooth. This small buff aims to keep Sabertooth competitive in the early rounds.

Mountain
  • Mountain's four main guns are now more inclined to lock onto different targets.
  • ATK 5086 → 5618 (+ 10%)

Developer's note: We are gradually adjusting the strength of Mountain so that it can eventually appear in 1v1 and 2v2 modes in the future.

Reinforcement Cards
  • The cost of high-level Melting Points cards has been increased.

Developer's note: The price of high-level Melting Points in unit reinforcement is too cheap. This change will make its price close to that of high-level Fortresses.

Ignite
  • Units will not be able to restore HP while ignited.

Developer's note: This adjustment aims to provide players with more means to combat healing Tech and Item.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the issue where Abyss could accidentally damage allied shields.
  • Fixed the issue where the shield could not block Phantom Ray's oil bomb.

Update 1.4.3

Void Eye and the Undo Button are set to be released on May 22nd. Before then, we want to make a few more balance adjustments.

Balance Adjustments

Hound
  • ATK 253→246(-3%)
Developer's Note: Hound is still relatively strong in the high MMR range, and this change aims to bring Hound down to Arclight's power level.

Arclight
  • HP 4004→4204(+5%)
Developer's Note: More HP will help Arclight fight better against units like Hounds and Mustangs.

Overlord
  • [Launcher Overload] Cost 250→300
Developer's Note: After Overlord's base range increase, [Launcher Overload] became too strong. We hope to slightly reduce the cost-effectiveness of this Tech.

Sabertooth
  • Attack Interval 3.6s→3.4s
  • ATK 8360→7858(-6%)
Developer's Note: Sabretooth's pick rate is still too low. After this change, the Sabretooth will have the same DPS as before, but its ability to fight against small and medium-sized units will be improved.

Marksman
  • [Assault Mode]'s ATK bonus 30%→50%
Developer's Note: The current win rate of Marksman is a bit low, we aim to give Marksman players more options by buffing the [Assault Mode].

Our New Game "Out of Hands" Just launched

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1839810/Out_Of_Hands/
Hello everyone! The second game from Game River Studio, "Out of Hands", has just launched!

"Out of Hands" has come a long way. The earliest version of the game was developed by our colleague Yang Zeyu alone during a Game Jam at the end of 2021. He created Out of Hands in his spare time. Because of the time constraint of the Game Jam, Yang Zeyu used his camera to take photos to create the game. To his surprise, the game won multiple awards, and we received a lot of positive feedback from players.

Encouraged by enthusiastic players, in 2022, we decided to expand this little demo into a complete game. Out of Hands was still mainly developed by Yang Zeyu, while other colleagues joined to provide assistance, including Chen Dingming, who later wrote most of the final game's code. This is an unconventional two-person team, with Yang Zeyu being the first member and Chen Dingming combined with others to be the second, which is somewhat fitting to the theme of "Out of Hands".

Time flies, and it's now three years later, 2025. After many delays, "Out of Hands" is finally here! The complete "Out of Hands" became a card adventure RPG. The protagonist of the game wakes up to find that his whole body is composed of many different hands. "Out of Hands" uses card game mechanics, stop-motion videos, IRL photos, and pencil-drawn maps to tell the bizarre adventure of a person who is trapped in their own mind.

The development process of "Out of Hand" was a wonderful journey full of surprises for us. And today, we hope that everyone else can experience a different but equally wonderful journey in the game!

Thank you all for your help along the way! We hope you enjoy our game!
