Desaturation Patch Notes for 1.0.5

Hello Splatians. Community member AirKris discovered a soft-lock down there in the Copper Mines...

Silly me, silly me! An explosive canister too close to a save checkpoint is definitely a recipe for save-file-apocalypse...

Anyways, this is now fixed!

Desaturation Patch Notes for 1.0.4

Hello Splatians! Improving, improving, improving... This small update is here merely to fix newly discovered critical softlocks and do some small improvements

Here's what's changed:

1. If you get stubborn enough and move the crate in the Reception out of the yellow pool, it will reset. (Thanks Mr. Necrotic)
2. In the Forest Tunnel there were some places that you can go out of bounds. They were fixed (Thanks to AirKris and OneMore)
3. Fixed some typos in Bulgarian translation (Thanks myself and Pumzow)
4. Some minor fixes to Corrupted Castle
5. Small adjustments to Slime AI, in preparation for the upcoming Slime Update.

Reminder, we heard your feedback about difficulty!
We are working on providing a difficulty setting for easier slimes and less deaths due to this, but we will keep the original challenging slime mode for those of you who want some challenge and it will remain the default.

Call To Action
Feel free to share the game with streamers and content creators you know! We need your help to make Desaturation successful.

Community Translation Initiative
We will soon start an initiative for community translation. If you want the game translated to your language, feel free to tell us in our Discord.

That's it, thanks for being part of Splatland and helping shut-down the horrible Desaturation project.

Desaturation Patch Notes for 1.0.2

Hello Splatians! A community Member discovered an interesting but very serious progression bug that may end you permanently stuck in the Divine Station Area.

And while as usual, we blame Lord Ashen for these, it was very stupid oversight.

Here's what's changed:

1. Fixed the Copper Mine Station's Left Blockade area not blocking access to Divine Station. It's no longer possible to enter Divine Station before it's intended time in the story.
2. If you are already stuck in the Divine Station area, The tunnel is now unlocked for you to backtrack and continue your run.
3. Added some cables and minor hints to places to hint you what to do.
4. Fixed the music in the Battle Of Balance (in Ceremony Hall).

5. Steam Deck: We removed the Share/Import buttons on Steam Deck - using these can crash your deck and/or get the game into weird corrupted state.

We're very sorry if you entered Western Village Area and got stuck in there.

And we heard your feedback about difficulty!

Desaturation Patch Notes for 1.0.1

Hello Splatians. We had quite interesting launch day.
Some of you discovered some interesting things, in the good sense, but some of you discovered bugs. Nothing serious, except some really annoying rocks and lava!

As usual, we blame Lord Ashen for them, and squish them the same way we do with Slimes.

Here is what's changed:

1. While nothing critical, we dug some hole in a certain level so you won't need to reload your save because of soft-lock. P.s. you can tap Delete to reset checkpoint if you are playing with keyboard.
2. The Basement Boss room was fixed.
3. Fixed some minor z-fighting graphical glitches - there are some remaining, too.
4. Fixed some very annoying section in the Mines, about rocks.
5. Fixed Discord's Rich presence
It now shows proper map percentage, and we added your death counter.
6. Fixed the Map Percentage in the status screen, too.

Minor stuff, but as a very small indie I want to be a good example of how I'm going to maintain the game.

With this in mind, what's next on the roadmap... is doing further polish and considering a mod support + level editor. And community localizations!

ColorBlend FX: Desaturation is now available!

After 5 years of almost-solo development, loads of caffeine and Slime Essence (i just meant pizzas), the secret government project DESATURATION that ended up causing not just the apocalypse, but also a colorpocalypse, becomes a playable reality!
Grab a controller, some pizza, and dive into that weird and interesting world
or just use your old bulky keyboard :D

If you have a Steam Deck, jump in there too, just set the GPU performance manually to higher performance to get better framerate!
Stay tuned for more information in the upcoming days.
