Manpower cost reductions - buffs for close air support - map improvements for the Arms Race event map - critical bug fix for Anti Air units.
Good news for the troops on your frontline - reinforcements are coming! Manpower costs have been reduced across the board, putting more boots on the ground to where you need them the most. Bigger cost reductions were applied to later unit levels, making this change more impactful in the phase of the game where Manpower becomes a major bottleneck.
Meanwhile, spies have become a bit too good at their jobs, so we’ve tightened their leash. Sabotage spies can no longer trigger the “reveal all armies” action, restoring some much-needed fog to the fog of war. You can still supply your HQ with vital intel by using Intelligence spies, which can trigger the “Reveal Local Armies” action in adjacent provinces.

We’ve also made some key adjustments to your close air support. The introduction of ranged Anti Air has made life tough for planes that like to linger above the battlefield.
To remedy this, Attack Bombers had their damage buffed against armored targets and Naval units. Get in, land your hit and get back out - now you are getting more boom for your buck!
Additionally, Tactical Bombers have received an upgrade to their Hitpoints, making them better at absorbing incoming rounds. This way they can loiter longer while slowly and methodically tearing your enemies apart.
In the meantime, long ranged Strategic Bombers were thriving. They excel at delivering precise strikes against infrastructure and population morale. To reign in their efficiency, Strategic Bombers have had some of their payload taken away - less bombs means less damage against buildings and province morale.

Based on community feedback we’ve improved the resource availability and distribution on the Arms Race map. This should lead to fairer starts, more strategic variety, and fewer moments of “why did I already run out of food again?”
Further we fixed a bug where Anti-Air units with fire control set to “aggressive” forgot their manners: They would open fire on neutral aircraft without triggering any diplomatic consequences. Now, if you damage a neutral nation's planes, expect them to return the favor - war will be properly triggered as it should.
