Airport CEO Alpha 33.7-47 Released (The Queen's Mini Update)

Hey, hey, hey, airport CEO!

As we wrote in yesterday's dev blog we've got another little Steam autumn sale surprise update for you. Alpha 33.7-47 brings a few fixes but most importantly introduces the Queen of the Skies to Airport CEO!



The 747 is flown exclusively by Swiftly and if you have an existing contract with Swiftly at your airport you will need to cancel and re-accept it in order to make sure that the 747 is included in Swiftly's fleet generation.

Airport CEO Alpha 33.7-4 Released

Good morning airport CEO!

It's time for yet another default update. Alpha 33.7-4 brings a lot of improvements including early access testing of several new languages, a new path finding worker thread solution, new a check-in desk allocation system and loads of other fixes.

This update especially targets you who've had issues with stalled passengers and employees in a late-stage airport with around 2k+ passengers or more. This is by far the bulk of our current bug report backlog and to solve it we've overhauled a large part of how the simulation engine distributes and calculates paths across multiple requests. We'll dive deeper into this in today's dev blog!

  • [ACEO-19040] - Overhauled path finding system to better accommodate multiple complex path requests and to avoid stalling path finding queue

Airport CEO Alpha 33.6-0 Released

Good evening fellow CEOs!

We hope you're having a chill weekend and to make it a little bit more chill we're deploying Alpha 33.6-0 which brings a new round of stabilization fixes, specifically targeting the stuck airside shuttle buses you've reported a long with some capacity improvements for large aircraft in relation to check-in.

Airport CEO Alpha 33.5-4 Released

Good afternoon airport CEO!

As promised we're today delivering another small bug fix update. This one targets a few minor UI issues but primarily deals with a problem that could cause boarding to stall if a boarding desk is placed on a different floor than the stand it is boarding for. We've also enhanced some logging features to be able to better track exception bugs that occur across saves (when changing save names).
