Mechanicus II: First Gameplay Trailer… and a Big Reveal

The Machine God demands your attention – the first gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II has finally arrived! Check it out here.

Coming later this year to Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, the sequel throws you straight into a planetary war between the Adeptus Mechanicus and the ancient Necron race.

You’ll notice some familiar faces: Magos Dominus Faustinius’ trusted advisors return, this time as deployable and upgradeable leaders of his skirmish forces. Each brings their own unique personality and battlefield specialisation, adding a new strategic layer to your command.

For the first time in a Warhammer 40,000 video game, the kin of the Leagues of Votann enter the battlefield as a non-playable faction appearing in both campaigns. Their purpose on the contested world of Hekateus IV remains unknown: are they fellow seekers of knowledge, mercenaries in search of profit, or something far more dangerous? Their presence raises questions, and their loyalty is anything but guaranteed.

So that's nice. But the thing that's got me hot and bothered is the announcement of a follow-up to Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, the turn-based tactics game that placed at number two in our ranking of every Warhammer 40,000 game...
