Ready to rediscover World War 3? The Veteran Alpha Test is ready for deployment! This exclusive test is available to Veterans (players who purchased the game during Early Access and own it in their Steam library) and offers access to a new and improved version of the game from September 30 at 05:00 PT/12:00 GMT until October 4 at 05:00 PT/12:00 GMT.

The Veteran Alpha Test (accessible via ‘World War 3 PTE’ in your Steam library) will showcase the new and improved version of World War 3, brought to you by the dedicated team at The Farm 51 with support from MY.GAMES. Eligible players can hit the battlefield in the Tactical Ops and Team Deathmatch game modes and fight across four war-torn maps based on the real-world cities of Berlin, Moscow, Warsaw, and Polyarny.

Improved gunplay, revamped animations, and many more improvements featured in our recent Development Update will be available to experience during the Veteran Alpha Test. Features like realistic maps, an extensive set of customization options, and a vast array of incredibly detailed uniforms and weapons culminate in an experience we like to call ‘playable realism’: realistic gameplay features that enhance immersion without impacting gameplay, keeping World War 3 accessible to players new to the FPS genre.

While the full breadth of customization options will not be featured at this stage, various realistic uniforms and weapons will be available to try out. You can customize your loadout before hitting the battlefield, while the Backpack feature gives you the option to bring extra equipment to adapt your tactics to your enemy and the shifting tides of battle.

Even if you’re not eligible to participate in the Veteran Alpha Test, you can tune in to a special live stream hosted on the official World War 3 YouTube channel on September 29 at 10:00 PT/17:00 GMT for a special glimpse into the ongoing development of World War 3. Alexey Larionov (Executive Producer at MY.GAMES) and Kamil Bilczyński (Creative Director at The Farm 51) will be on hand to showcase many of the exciting changes and new features the team has been working on over the past several months.

After pulling its early access version from sale in August 2020 to refocus on development, World War 3 has reemerged with an update on what its tactical shooting looks like. We’re nearing the end of the year, but World War 3 development isn’t slowing down! Iterative adjustments keep coming and we’re hosting internal tests every week to review feature and content changes, and spot bugs or other issues with the game. This phase involves professional testers and industry veterans, but also experienced FPS players and game developers!

While there’s still quite some time ahead on the development roadmap, we would also like to invite some of you to witness first-hand the progress on development, and contribute to making our game the best it can possibly be.

WORLD WAR 3: I want to join the test groups!


You will be granted a special role on Discord (make sure you’ve already joined our server) with a direct line of communication to the Community Team. You will be invited to join test sessions within certain time slots, and to submit feedback on specific areas of the game. These sessions will be organized over the following weeks and months, carrying on until the release of the game.

We’re interested in seeing how players from different gaming backgrounds will react to the game. Even if you’re not a hardcore online player or have a slightly outdated computer, try your luck and we might just have a slot for you!

Please note that all content shown and shared within the test groups is subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement. We really want to continue polishing the game and only reveal it publicly when it is fully ready.

All communications are exclusively conducted in English via Discord for easier communication between all teams, be it written or vocal, during test sessions.
This test group is only open to players over the age of 18 years.
A Steam account is necessary to test the game.
We will contact a limited amount of players this month on Discord directly: if you don't receive a private message from an official staff member, it means your application is still pending!
