Future Plans
we're in the works of revamping Bang! Howdy! For starts we will be re-balancing some things including scores to make it a bit more fair and ballanced. Some things being worked on:
- Change the default "Bang! Howdy" parlor into an unranked game table
- Allow use of all units (locked or unlocked) in unranked table games.
These changes will encourage new players to play unranked and get a feel for the units and deeper strategy of the game.
For Forest Guardians:
- I don't know how deeply embedded this would be in the "legacy" code, but if we can modify the percentiles for ranks to account for a smaller playerbase, that could help.
- Lower Cowpoke badge to 25 games played. 50 games is a lot of games in an essentially limited variety of opponents. Players likely encounter the same opponents often and that could be discouraging. Lowering this requirement would allow for more gang competition as more gangs spring into the ranks.
- Bring back gang rentals. This was a popular aspect of the game in its prime. Potential Coin and scrip sink. Avoid adding Coin reqs to the Buckle items, though, that was too much.
- This would be a big change - add the ability to buy the exchange pass for a lot of scrip, talking like 10-12.5k scrip, in league of lower end Familar duds. Removes the monetary boundary, new players to free to play games are often young and don't have access to payment options.(edited)
This may have been done already, but removing the Coin requirement for ITP ticket would help too
A much more comprehensive stats menu when you open up someone's Wanted Poster including specific statistics on games.
The ability to gift coins & scrip to people is currently being looked into but NOT promised.
