Break, Breakthrough, and Goodbye.

[p]Friends, it is time to reveal a terrible secret. During this long radio silence, the project was attempting a reincarnation. We were preparing a leap to a much more advanced platform with a massive update. But… it wasn’t meant to be.
[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Even simple bug fixes became impossible because the project is officially done. The source code simply refuses to open; it chose its own path - to be eternally preserved in almost 2007 (or rather, 2017). The game decided to remain an artefact of its time.[/p][p]But all is not lost! We managed to salvage the most valuable thing from the archives - the soul of the game. We decided to release the Soundtrack separately, compiling it into the final version of Rinka.[/p][p]This soundtrack is the result of work by many composers over a significant period. So significant, in fact, that we are no longer sure who exactly wrote some of the tracks![/p][p]I won’t even try to define the genre of this chaos, nor will I attempt to "master" it or bring it to a single standard. The time capsule must remain untouched.[/p][p]It is pure eclecticism: some tracks were written specifically for the game, others migrated from completely unrelated projects, and some were born as a cure for insomnia for one of the authors. Yes, we clearly lacked skill, and to some, it might sound like we were just rolling our faces across a MIDI keyboard... But we genuinely tried to convey an atmosphere.[/p][p]Development took place back in the distant 2015 - you could say during the blossoming of the doujin culture. We tried our hardest to mimic the mood of Yume Nikki, where sound texture prevails over rhythm and tonality.[/p][p]So, I invite you on this excursion into almost 2007, which is actually 2015.[/p][p]And one final step. We are officially linking the project to the publisher that has been modestly hiding on the game's main art all this time - IKUKREA And who knows? Perhaps one day, the story of Rinka and the mysterious Info-Fairies will bloom with new colours there~[/p][p]But every end is the beginning of something new! Right at this very moment, our publisher is releasing a game by one of Rinka's composers - Don't Press X to Free the Pirate! It is a wildly experimental high-effort shitpost about the most (un)dangerous and (completely un)armed pirate craving freedom! Can you withstand his manipulations and manage to do absolutely nothing in a game you actually paid money for?
[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]And now, be careful, the sarcophagus is closing. Next stop — eternity!
