Dealers!
Two years ago, on 16 April 2020, we announced the release of Drug Dealer Simulator on Steam. And what two years it’s been! Let’s take a peek at a timeline of major events since the release and at how our game evolved during this time.
16 April 2020 – Drug Dealer Simulator premieres on Steam with a 15% launch discount. We’ve also organised a giveaway stream as a reward for reaching the community challenge!
18 April 2020 – Patch #1 arrives with a lot of fixes and improvements, including:
- Fixed the crystallizer and pill maker in the shop. They’re now normally available in a store with prices;
- Improvements to the perception of the Police on all game difficulties (mostly on “PLATA O PLOMO” difficulty);
- Fixed police spawning system;
and more!
21 April 2020 – Patch #2 arrives with more bug fixes and improvements. For example, we have enlarged capacities for backpacks and bags, and fixed disappearing furniture.
27 May 2020 – Weed Growing Update. Yep, that’s when we added the possibility to grow your own weed!
30 September 2020 – Super Duper Ghetto Update came out! It was our first major update containing shiny new stuff besides the obligatory improvements and bug fixes. We’ve added for example:
- A completely new sky sphere, exterior lighting, weather system, and moon phases.
- New lockpick system requiring usable bobby pins
- Random loot spawns in exteriors and interiors all around the map
- We have also refreshed the UI. And more, of course!
29 October 2020 – Halloween in-game event with carved pumpkins on the streets of ghetto. Spooky!
25 January 2021 – Harty Pard Update with a new gang, new quests and new type of drugs (yep, that’s when psychedelics were introduced).
25 February 2021 – Pimp My House Patch came out with new lamps and plants in the store. We’ve also changed the max capacity for all workstation containers, mixers, fluid mixers and dryers to be more realistic, and fixed some more bugs.
2 June 2021 – Sewer Dealer Bro Update adds a whole new underground world! This is when we introduced the much-hated/loved sewers to the game. We’ve added also a police blockade during the police hours.

1 February 2022 – The latest update to date is out! Say hello to the Uptown Kings Update.Do you remember the trailer?

The new patch introduced enormous changes to the game core, mechanics and balance. It included:
- New drug demand system;
- New money laundering mechanics;
- New sector;
- New hideouts;
- Gang rebalancing;
- Power sabotage mechanics;
- Apartment manager mode;
- Dealer levelling system;
- Improved time flow.
And more is yet to come! We’re continuing to work on the next huge update, and it will be good.
