8.2 Improved Formulas
New Features:
Split scaling for most skills is no
longer multiplicative.
Balancing:
Reduced enemy defense and spirit by
2.5%.
Reduced end game enemy health by
5-20%.
Bombs now deal 15 times the base damage.
Increased base damage of tier 1 bombs
by an additional 50%.
Tech level now increases base bomb
damage by 5% per level. (was 1%)
Engineering level now increases base
bomb damage by 10% per level. (was 0%)
Bombs no longer bypass enemy damage
reduction.
Bombs are now counted as magic attacks.
Bombs are now able to miss.
Different bombs are now reduced by
different stats. (fire and living are
reduced by defense and spirit, ice is
reduced by spirit x 2, and lightning
is reduced by magic and spirit)
Improved damage to all greatsword
and mace abilities.
Doubled flinch chance to violent
swings. (quadrupled final tier)
Improved damage to scythe's heavy
swing.
Slightly improved damge to sword's
heavy swing.
Earth AoE spells are now reduced
only by dexterity.
Increased wind's Regen from 8% to
10%.
Increased wind's Mana Regen from 8%
to 10%.
Increased wind's Emerald Regen from
8% to 50%.
Emerald Wind no longer regens health.
Increased wind's Perfect Regen from
double to triple.
Redesigned some offensive water skills.
Redesigned Thread's damage formulas.
Hemorrhage now lowers recovery by 50%
instead of 25%.
Hemorrhage now lowers dexterity by 10%.
Hemorrhage now increases Carbon damage
taken by 50%.
All fire based skills can now remove
hemorrhage. (chance is low to guaranteed)
Fire Armor and Fire Mending now remove
hemorrhage.
Offensive carbon spells are now able to
cause hemorrhage. (moderate chance)
Skeletal tremors are now able to stun.
(small chance)
Offensive psychic spells now have a
low to moderate chance to stun.
Increased confusion rate for all psychic
skills.
Psychic skills are now protected by
spirit and current mana instead of just
spirit. (this protection slightly scales
up with tier)
Increased damage to all psychic skills.
Moved around and renamed multiple Scythe
skills.
Buffed damage formulas to multiple Scythe
skills.
Defense no longer protects against some
scythe skills. (only magic and spirit)
Drain mana skills are now only protected
by spirit stat x 2. (was magic x 1 and
spirit x 1)
Scythe's Sentence now also increases fire
damage taken by 50%.
Drastically increased curse chance to
Scythe's Hateful Strikes and Cleave skills.
Scythe's Hateful Strikes and Cleave skills
can now lower enemy attack, magic, and spirit
by 20%. (chances range from 100% to 1600%)
(enemies with this effect also take twice
the mana damage, as well as have twice the
chance to become confused)
Scythe's Hateful Strikes and Cleave skills
are now protected by defense and magic. (was
defense and spirit)
Scythe's Hateful Strikes and Cleave skills
are now able to blind.
Increased damage to scythe's ultimates.
Scythe's ultimates are now reduced by spirit
x 6.
Doubled visibility reduction to all scythe
skills. (rapture now increases visibility
instead of reduces it)
Removed counter aspect to all spear skills.
Slightly buffed spear skills.
Doubled initial time needed for

Construction level time multiplier
reduced from 2.4 to 1.8.
Research level time modifier reduced
from 2.0 to 1.5.
Mining level time multiplier reduced

reduced from 1.8 to 1.5.
Reduced ship building level time
multiplier from 1.8 to 1.5.
Art level time modifier reduced from
3.0 to 1.5. (art level's initial time
was tripled instead of doubled)

Doubled initial cost to tools.

now communicates that its additive with

divided by store level and engineering
