New Features:
Difficulty increasing altars have been
added to harder modes. There are a total
of 25 altars to choose from.


Hard mode = 1 altar
Nightmare = 3 altars
Infinite Nightmare = 7 altars


Altar of Fate:
Altars are Randomly Chosen
Gain 1 Talent Point

Altar of Dementia:
Removes AP Souls
Removes 1 Talent Point

Altar of Patience:
Halves EXP
Gain 1 Talent Point

Altar of Weakness:
Monsters Receive Half Damage

Altar of Strength:
Doubles Monster Attack and Defense

Altar of Power:
Doubles Monster Magic and Spirit

Altar of Immortality:
Monsters Gain 10% Health Regen

Altar of Bone:
Doubles Monster Defense
Monsters Receive 25% Less Damage

Altar of Salvation:
Doubles Monster Spirit
Monsters Gain 50% Status Protection

Altar of Blood:
Doubles Monster Attack and Magic

Altar of Flame:
Monsters Gain an Additional Action for 5 Turns

Altar of Height:
Bosses Gain an Additional Action
Bosses Receive Half Damage

Altar of Hatred:
Monsters Begin Enraged

Altar of Methodology:
Doubles Monster Dexterity
Monsters Gain 25% Chance to Crit

Altar of Haste:
Doubles Monster Dexterity
Monsters Gain 25% Additional Action

Altar of Mortality:
Monsters Deal Double Damage
Monsters Receive 25% More Damage

Removes Potions
Removes Base Health Regen

Altar of Sight:
Monsters Gain +200% Accuracy

Altar of Terror:
-75% Psychology
Monsters Gain 25% Chance to Crit

Altar of Depression:
Halves Economy and Happiness
Closes Bank

Altar of Anarchy:
Triples Crime

Altar of Regression:
-90% Science and Artistry Rate

Altar of Neglect:
-75% Construction Rate
-90% Engineering and Ship Building Rate

Altar of Conflict:
Doubles Enemy Tech Rate


Balancing:
New playthroughs now begin with an additional
talent point.
Entering NG+ now gives an additional talent
point.
Simplified status formula. (health is no
longer considered) (late game enemies with
extremely high health were borderline immune
to status effects)
Rhythm has been redesigned to Vigor, which
increases all stats by 1%.
Increased early game card ghost rewards by 1
career point.
Increased encounter strength to Poetry of Blood
card ghosts by 20%.
Halved EXP given from card ghosts.
Enraged enemies now have a 50% chance for an
additional action instead of 25%.
Reduced base enemy tech rate of Infinite
Nightmare from 12000 to 10000.
Enemies gain town attack resources 20% faster.
Increased protection of enemy resources by
50%.
Increased health to Shiva by 25%.
Increased health to Arbuscular Mycorrhizae by
25%.
Reduced damage of tier 2 bombs and above from
12% to 40%.
Bomb's luck aspect now scales at 1.3 instead of
1.5.

Misc:
Slightly reduced size and flashing effect to
blind animation.
Slightly reduced flashing effect to silence
animation.

Dev note: after looking at the altars, noticed
bombs were the only hope. so I took em out back
and gave them the old yeller. there will be no
hope.

Balancing:
Reduced Lost Arsenal by 150 realism shards.
Ruthless Strategist talent is now +10% mana with
+10% damage dealt instead of +25% spell haste.
Electric Boogaloo talent now increases dexterity
by 25% instead of 15% spell haste.
Reduced tech influence on bombs from 5% per level
to 2% per level.
Reduced engineering influence on bombs from 10%
per level to 5% per level.
Reduced luck aspect of bombs by 25%.
Halved bomb penalty on NG+.
Buffed various weapons.

Misc:
Fixed bomb maker from selling a PoM bomb.
Fixed party issue after visiting Lazik Hand.

9.8 Lazik Hand

New Features:
Lazik Hand is now in. (lazik hand is the
western section of lazik city) (no questline
until other sections of lazik city are made)
Added faceset for Lord Simon. (improved some
of his dialog as well)

Balancing:
Increased enemy dexterity by 25%.
Enemies deal 20% less wind damage.
Blind now gives 50% resistance to expression
damage.
Changed Lightning element from giving +25%
spell haste to +10% attack and magic.

Misc:
Glowing bed in the forest will now stop
working after catacombs.
Fixed card 491. (new saves only)
Fixed text issue on some talent nodes.
