Patch Status and Main Menu theme is on YouTube!

The status on the upcoming patch 0.2.0.0:

We are excited to get this out as soon as we can. It isn't looking like too much longer is needed and we have many things to share that you can look forward to once the patch launches.

Changes:
- New main menu UI
- New Hunt menu UI
- New logo for Wrath of the Goliaths: Dinosaurs
- New Hunter model, audio, and animations for first person and third person
- Updated in-game UI
- Added inventory system
- Updated the pause menu
- Reworked the trophy bagging system
- Added animation and interaction for when you bag the trophy
- Reworked the AI system
- Reworked the spawn system
- Proper game instance settings, removed the old hunt variable system. This should alleviate major problems with loading levels
- Fixed the weather system to properly load the selected weather
- Added Tupuxuara
- Added Pteranodon
- Updated the loading screen
- New weapon system is implemented, you can now drop weapons as they run out of ammunition, or pick up weapons you find while hunting
- The ui will now shame you if you hunt an animal you don't have a license for
- New map in the works, will replace both maps from former builds. We are sad to see them go as it did take a lot of effort to create them, but it is the only way we can be certain the game will run efficiently is to start from scratch.
- Added a new burst rifle
- Added new audio for the weapons
- Tweaked several things, so many we won't list here. Majority involve small variables such as speed of certain animals, reload speed for some weapons, and fire rates.

Many more fixes and additions will come in the patch once it is ready, for now the majority of these are already implemented.

Patch 0.1.6.5 Notes

Patch 0.1.6.5:

- Tweaked animal spawning
- Reduced most 4k textures to 2k or 1k texture sizes
- Removed Substance plugin
- Fixed the error that pops up when exiting the game
- Reduced the load distance from 150k to 75k on the island map
- Removed some redundant casts to the hunter blueprint
- Fixed up saving variables
- Apatosaurus now correctly displays info once killed
- Acrocanthosaurus license is now unlockable through perma amount (18,000 perma required to unlock)
- Carcharodontosaurus license is now unlockable through perma amount (16,000 perma required to unlock)
- T.Rex unlock criteria changed to 20,000 perma
- Various other fixes and changes

Fixes and Changes:


- Dinosaurs now spawn around the player and despawn when outside of a radius unless marked. Marking occurs when a dinosaur is hit with a tranq or shot.
-Changed grenade velocity
-Cleaned assets sizes (What is loaded into memory when an asset is loaded)

These assets are:
The core dinosaur blueprint
The main menu level
The Valley level
The Island level
The character select widget
The options widget
The storm level

These assets were referencing the hunter blueprint which is rather large and would increase loading time. Cleaning them has decreased loading time

- Fixed dinosaurs spawning incorrectly as their core blueprint instead of the correct actor (Dimetrodon is the default model for ambient dinosaurs, but Triceratops is the default title) Dimetrodon now spawns correctly and is animated properly
- Fixed detection of sight and sound perceptions
- When dinosaurs hear you, they will now run away if they don't see you, unless they are a carnivore, then they will become curious and move toward the noise
- Revamped the Island map, reset tree positions, added a ravine, a lake, and a couple rivers
- Added a new river and waterfall blueprint
- Added river and waterfall audio to the island map
- Revised the hunt notification, when killing a hunt, an interface is now used instead of casting to the hunter
- The hunters run speed is decreased
- Fixed the movement speed of dinosaurs being capped at 500 (Fairly slow when running)
- Tweaked the following movement speeds for these dinosaurs:
Triceratops v1 & v2 - 1200
Acrocanthosaurus - 1500
Megalosaurus - 900
Compsognathus - 300
Dimetrodon - 700
Edaphosaurus - 650
Apatosaurus - 1000

- Tweaked the hunter spawn system, the hunter now is teleported to a spawn port quicker

- Fixed RP500 animation not playing even if you had the license for the weapon.

- The valley map is back

-Various other tweaks

Added:
- Depth of Field now changes when aiming down the sights
- Dev note text for when dying
- A backlight source
