Super Twin Week!

Your Zoo might as well be an aquarium with all the animals currently playing around in their watering holes. Fresh mommies are grateful for the break - they can just doze on a nearby rock with one eye watching the gamboling youngsters. Yep, another Twin Breeding Event has begun with today's patch!

This means that every successful breeding completed* before Wednesday, July 4th, at 10:59 am CEST will grant you twins!

In addition to the two baby animals, all players who breed twins will also receive twice the experience. And if the breeding wasn't successful? All players will receive twice the experience anyway, as a bit of a consolation prize.

For the first timer ever, you can also enjoy the benefit of 50% off of fertility feed! Significantly increase the chance of getting not one, but two baby animals at an unbelievably low price!

Please note: The experience bonus is already calculated into the pop-up display that appears for your information after a successful breeding.

*Breedings must complete during the event period; breedings that were started during the event will not result in twins once the event expires.

World Cup Event

Dear Zoo Directors,

"In Soviet Russia, country comes to you!" Football fever is rampant in the zoo, and you can now get a closer look at the World Cup's host country in this year's World Cup Event!

For the duration of the event, you'll find the seasonal section of your shop stocked with impressive Russian landmarks and international banners - use them to show your enthusiasm for your team and this year's enchanting host country!

Each World Cup decoration you place in your zoo will give you points in the form of Footballs at regular intervals. Just click on the pin that appears above them to collect your Footballs.

One special decoration - the King's Gate - will instantly give you 7,500 Footballs when you charge it for 10 Diamonds.

You can click on this icon at the right side of your playing field to see your progress. Collecting enough Footballs before the event ends on July 11 at 10:59 am CEST will allow you to earn 3 awesome animals for your zoo!

You can also help out your friends by sending pieces of two exclusive World Cup friendship gifts!

Prizes include two former prize animals, the Arapaima and the Kea, as well as a brand-new animal, the Raccoon Dog!

  • 50,000 Footballs - Arapaima
  • 100,000 Footballs - Kea
  • 200,000 Footballs - Raccoon Dog
  • 400,000 Footballs- Arapaima
  • 600,000 Footballs - Kea
  • 750,000 Footballs - Raccoon Dog

While bearing an uncanny resemblance to raccoons, the Raccoon Dog is actually a canine. Native to Eastern Asia - its Japanese name (tanuki) is also quite popular - it was introduced to parts of the Soviet Union between 1928-1958. It is now abundant in large parts of Eastern Europe. Raccoon Dogs are good fathers, helping the females raise their litters. In your zoos, these furry bandits will feel most comfortable in forest and ice enclosures, where they take up six fields of space and can be kept in groups of ten.

Enjoy the game!

Serengeti Collection

Dear Zoo Directors,

Summer's here, and while the lions and antelopes are busy scratching at pesky flies, we bet you're itching for a challenge! We have just the thing for you: the all-new Serengeti Collections!

Just like previous collections, you'll find these new challenges in the "Animal Collection" tab of the achievement menu (the trophy/250 in the main menu bar):

There are two challenges, Serengeti Beginner and Serengeti Specialist. You want details? Then have a look at the spoiler!*

Missing some of the required animals? Keep an eye out for some hot deals!

Each of these tasks rewards a Kirk's Dik-Dik - a brand new animal for your Serengeti Region!

Weighing at most just over 7kg, Kirk's Dik-Dik is the largest of the Dik-Diks, the world's smallest antelopes. These quaint nocturnal creatures are well-adapted to their hot and arid habitat. Their large ears and strange snout help them keep cool, and they make sure to always eat the juiciest plants to stay hydrated!

These tiny ungulates can be kept exclusively in Serengeti (or Serengeti breeding) enclosures, which limits them to being kept in the Serengeti and the Zoo d'Amour, which can be unlocked through the Zoological Society.

Enjoy the game!
