Developer Update - October 1
We're excited this Developer Update to showcase some awesome things happening within our community as we kick off Cohort 05 for the Wounded Warrior Project Test Pilot program, celebrate our amazing Affiliate Partners that were recently promoted, & update you on current and upcoming community events that you can join in on!
For nearly a year, 8 Circuit Studios has been teamed up with Wounded Warrior Project in an ongoing collaboration providing behind-the-scenes of game development experience to WWP Alumni & Family Support Members. Cohort 05 has just kicked off and is the largest Cohort so far, with over 50 Alumni & Family Support Members gearing up to get their hands dirty in unreleased, private Project Genesis builds.
The Project Genesis Wounded Warrior Project Test Pilot program is designed to offer an introduction into the development process for Project Genesis and video game development in general. With 6 weeks of game testing, bug reporting, play balancing, Q&A workshops & much more, Cohort 05 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting Cohorts thus far.

The true heroes of the Project Genesis community can be found within our Affiliate Partner Program, and we recently had the honor of recognizing standout Affiliate Partners with a promotion ceremony that leveled-up their status in the community and in-game.
From Ambassadors recruiting new players & making the Discord server a positive and fun place to hang out, Test Pilots that have spent countless hours testing and providing feedback, and Creators that have live streamed & created photo and video content to get the game in front of new eyes, in their own unique way each have contributed significantly and as a dev team we are truly grateful.

Some of our favorite memories with our community have been made during our weekly DevSessions, where we get in-game with community members and team up with/face-off against the community as a dev team!
With the recent addition of our new Community Manager, Shauna "Cherry" Chambers, we've doubled the number of weekly DevSessions now available to you. Whether you want to kick it with some of us on the dev team, or bully us by holding our spawn doors, we would love to have you join us for our regular sessions:
Join our Discord server and not only will you be able to RSVP any events you're planning on attending, but also be able to hop into our DevSession voice channel and talk shop with the rest of the community and members from our dev team.

For those of you that enjoy those high-intensity, ultra competitive Project Genesis games...Sweat16 is coming back.
That's right. Beginning in November, the 1st Saturday of each month will feature a roughly 60-minute session of all out sweaty games. To be the best you've got to beat the best, so hone your skills, gear up, and let's see who gets bragging rights at the end of each Sweat16 session.
