Developer Update - February 15
Get ready for a game-changing update, as we introduce a slew of new passive and active abilities, as well as powerful Ultimate abilities in Project Genesis upcoming Neo pre-alpha milestone update.
With the new Mods system, players can select three passives each for their avatars and battle craft, providing an array of new abilities that will greatly enhance your gameplay experience. For instance, with the Opti-Tac mod, you can switch and reload weapons 33% faster, while the Faraday Capacitor reduces the time of EMP stun effects by 50%.
For the stealth players out there, we've also added some nifty new always-on abilities that will make you harder to detect. With the Thermal Lensing mod, your avatar becomes invisible on enemy minimaps and thermal imaging optics, and your battle craft is invisible on minimaps, making it harder for the enemy to lock on to you. Meanwhile, the Sonic Dampener mod ensures your avatar's footstep and reload audio can't be heard by enemies for 15 seconds.
But we've also got some exciting new active abilities for you to try out, with the addition of the new Skill Streaks system. These powerful Ultimate abilities are assigned to keys 3, 4, and 5, with more to come in future updates. Starting with the lowest amount of killstreaks required, players can unleash devastating abilities like the Shield Fields, which creates a bubble that your entire team can use, or the Auto Turret, which automatically targets and takes down your enemies.
For those who like to play the supportive role, we've added the Core Booster ability that can provide healing to your team members, while the Density Field increases weapon damage by 50% for your team within its sphere. But if you really want to cause chaos on the battlefield, try out the Seismic Detonator, which is twice as powerful as C4 with a larger area of effect and longer-lasting explosions.
With these new abilities, Project Genesis is taking the multiplayer shooter experience to a whole new level. Get ready to wreak havoc on the battlefield with the new Skill Streaks, or use the passive and active abilities to stay one step ahead of the enemy. We can't wait for you to try them out in the upcoming Neo pre-alpha milestone update.
