Patch Notes 0.4.3

General

— Base health of all classes increased by 15-20%.

Warrior

— Endurance duration reduced from 8 to 6 seconds.

Ranger

— Tailwind damage bonus per meter reduced from 1% to 0.5%.
— Windpiercing Shot damage reduced from 1000 to 800.

Outlaw

— Bash cooldown increased from 15 to 16 seconds.
— Passivating Strike cooldown increased from 15 to 16 seconds.

Judicator

— Focused Beam now can proc up to 3 times in a row.
— New mastery: Hammer Time. Your melee attacks deal 50% more damage and ignore 50% of the target's Armor.

Cleric

— Searing Light now also deals 200 Holy damage instantly.

Patch Notes 0.4.2

General

— Bots now correctly use all their baseline abilities

Warrior

— Dormant Steel: Dealing direct damage with Advancing Strike or Bladewave grants you a stack of Dormant Steel. Once it reaches 10 stacks, they will be consumed and you'll get the Awaken Steel effect for 8 seconds. It increases your movement speed by 30%, range of your melee attacks by 30% and their damage by 30%.
— Steelwake damage increased from 270 to 400, Stamina cost increased from 15 to 25.

Wizard

— Meteor Strike now slams airborne enemies to the ground, dealing up to 50% more damage.
— Hurricane Wave now throws enemies higher and also slightly decreases their movement and falling speed for 2 seconds.
— The Arctic Call now works with Ice Blast instead of Hurricane Wave.

Outlaw

— Dark Guile removed
— Passivating Strike is now a prime. Now it also turns Stab into Ambush.
— New mastery: Combat Lust. Your melee attacks have a 20% chance to reduce the Adrenaline cost of your abilities by 50% for 2 seconds.
— Murder no longer has a cooldown. Now it’s a holdable ability that costs 10 Adrenaline per second.

Judicator

— Sacred Lightning’s ground mark is now grey and dissappears in 10 seconds.
— New mastery: Focused Beam. With a 25% chance when healing an ally and with a 50% chance when hitting an enemy with Piercing Light its cooldown will be reset and your next Piercing Light deal 30% more damage and healing.
— Benevolence now reduces the cooldowns of Healing Light and Purification by 10%. This bonus is doubled if used on allies.

Cleric

— New mastery: Visions of Purity. Makes your direct healing increase the target's Clarity by 5% for 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times.
— New mastery: Promised Retribution. Dealing direct damage has a 20% to deal extra 500 Holy damage to all enemies within 3 meters of the target and restore you 50 mana per each enemy hit.
— New prime: Searing Light. Deals holy damage over time and extra fire damage every time the target moves for 6 seconds.
— Sanctuary is now baseline.
— Divine Prayer is now a prime.

Patch Notes 0.4.1

Small update for the 0.4 patch, without new content.
Some of the changes are temporary.

General

— Old bugs fixed.
— New bugs added.
— RAM usage reduced.
— Pillars on the castle arena are now smaller.
— Shock and strong slow effects (more than 50%) now also prevent players from jumping.

Classes

— Action bar size reduced from 11 to 10 slots.
— Perks temporarily removed.
— Prime limit increased from 3 to 4.
— Each class has 1 baseline spell moved to the Primes pool.
— Some old spells are temporarily available as Primes.
— Some spells are slightly changed.

March Update

Unfortunate outcome of our Kickstarter campaign has hindered our capability of working on Zeal, the development has been considerably slower in comparison to our previous pace. While allocating our extremely limited resources and time for the campaign greatly slowed our progress during the last months, we will never stop our efforts towards making this game the most fun no-grind RPG around.

We’re currently working on new content such as a brand new talent system, weapon system, in-game arena tournaments, new modes and new classes.
We’re planning to launch a Patreon page where you can support the game every month in order to help us quicken the development and allow us to replace placeholders. Patreon page will be launched later this month (perhaps in April) as supporters will get early access to new content and many other rewards which will be announced later.

Meanwhile, the current arena season will end in 4 weeks, on April 4th.

Our ladder has been updated and now includes the final requirements for the rewards.
3v3 temporarily won’t be available due to low population.
A total of 100 wins are required for titles.

Also, small update for the 0.4 patch will be released today.

Early Conquest Mode will be available to play soon!



We have great news after a while, which is an early version of Conquest Mode with updated classes and mechanics

The mode itself is like leveling a character in a PvP MMORPG, but in a session based fashion:

— 20 players/teams will spawn on a big map full of creatures, bosses and hidden treasures and slay each other until there is only one team standing.
— Starting from level 1 and with an empty inventory, players will fight their way through different zones while progressing in strength towards the main objective.

A lot of improvements, reworks and new abilities/classes/customization options are also being added to the game.
