Update 0.58.12

Good day, fighters!
The Lunar New Year sale and event have come to an end. We hope many of you managed to complete the Old man’s tasks, as with today’s update, he leaves the game, and all thematic items—fillers, fireworks, and others—disappear along with him.
Alongside this, we’ve prepared several improvements already waiting for you in the game! 🚀
Improvements in the "Foothills" Location
The "Foothills" location has received significant updates! In the control point capture zones, we’ve added many new objects, cover spots, buildings, and elevation changes, making battles even more exciting!
We’ve also fixed a number of minor design flaws: removed unnecessary rocks in some areas, revised the spawn points for "Radio" anomalies, and made other improvements.
Work on the location continues, and there’s still a lot of exciting stuff to come!
Updated Rain
In this update, we’ve reworked the rain: removed the so-called "spaghetti" effect, made the ground wetter, and added more realism. The final result is atmospheric and perfectly captures the grim spirit of the post-apocalypse! 🔥🤗

It’s worth noting that the new rain, despite its higher-quality implementation, doesn’t require more resources than its previous version. If we observe 100 FPS without rain on our test configuration, with rain in the same place and at the same time, we get 95 FPS, which doesn’t critically impact performance.

Test configuration:
• Graphics Quality: 2560x1080 Ultra
• AMD FSR: Off
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
• GPU: Nvidia GeForce 3060
• RAM: 16 GB
Please note: if TemporalAA anti-aliasing is turned off in your graphics settings, the rain may appear "rougher" than when it’s enabled.
Additionally, due to the nature of AMD FSR upscaling algorithms, the rain may not display perfectly when FSR is enabled. This is a natural and expected phenomenon related to how the technology works.
Faction Chevrons
The system for obtaining faction chevrons has been changed. Now, if you’re supposed to receive a chevron for killing a faction enemy, you don’t need to loot the backpack—it will automatically appear in your inventory (if there’s free space). Essentially, the game now has "auto-loot" for chevrons, which significantly simplifies clan progression and the completion of clan quests. Additionally, chevrons obtained this way no longer drop upon character death.
However, restrictions on interacting with chevrons have been introduced: they cannot be traded with other players, exchanged in barter, dropped on the ground, placed in regular stashes, sold, listed on the commission, etc., but they can be destroyed. This means that clan development will now rely on a more convenient way of collecting chevrons and completing clan quests, rather than trading them.
Other Changes
• Added new objects to the "Solnechniy Outskirts" location. We continue to enrich the game world, making it more interesting.
• Fixed issues with the "Foothills" sublocation loading while using a drone. This time, completely.
• Improved the sandstorm mechanics in the "Canyon" location. Fixed the issue where the storm would stop if the character took cover.
• Reduced the blast radius of RPG projectiles.
• Fixed various minor design errors in different locations.
