Update 0.58.9

Good day, fighters! 🫡

Did you manage to exchange your gift cards? The Smuggler and the festive decorations stayed in the game longer than we promised. Today, we’ve released patch version 0.58.9, which removes the Smuggler and all unused gift cards and introduces some changes.
Changelog
• The sandstorm in the Canyon location has been significantly reworked.
It now looks much better and more realistic. At the same time, the storm has become harsher. These weather conditions will make close-combat classes more in demand. Additionally, the storm is now less demanding on PC characteristics.

• Some caves in the Canyon location now provide shelter from the sandstorm, improving gameplay during cave battles.
• Optimized several objects for better performance.
• The position of the Matador event in the Foothills location has been slightly adjusted.
• Cosmetic changes have been made to the game’s main menu.
• The character editor has also received cosmetic updates.

• Minor design issues in the Foothills location have been fixed.
• Various other minor fixes have been implemented.

New Year Update 0.58.8

Greetings, fighters! Today, we’ve released Update 0.58.8, which marks the start of the winter event!
Frost Deer
The winter world boss, the Frost Deer, returns with some changes to its combat mechanics and rewards. Battles with the Frost Deer are now even more festive and fun! But that doesn’t mean it has become weaker or kinder. It will definitely be fun, though!

The Frost Deer can now only be encountered at night, just like other seasonal bosses. As before, defeating this mighty creature allows players to earn the most gift cards, which can be exchanged for various presents from the Smuggler, who has appeared in all settlements. Additionally, defeating the Frost Deer rewards players with various useful resources, festive snacks, and, on rare occasions, a spray can of “Frost” paint.

At the Smuggler, you can exchange gift cards for a new weapon skin – “Snowman Rage.” This skin features animated and sound effects during intense shooting. However, the “Frost” skin is no longer available for exchange, but as mentioned earlier, it can still be earned as a reward for defeating the Frost Deer.

Additionally, the Smuggler offers holiday snacks, a Frost Bat, and the S&W .500 Special in its standard finish, which is currently available in the game only through the Smuggler. The S&W .500 Special is also included in the holiday bundle available in the in-game store. In these bundles, the revolvers feature premium “Gold” and “Silver” skins, allowing them to be added to the account inventory.
The event begins with the release of the update and will run until January 9th, 2025, inclusive (09/01/2025 19:00 UTC).
Other Changes:
• New cover objects have been added to points C and F in the “Foothills” location.
• If an enemy is marked using a designator and then killed by another player from your faction, you will receive 1 additional point.
• Fixed an issue where characters could not interact with campfires while using emotes.
• Minor adjustments to the reload animation of the L96A1 have been made.
• Fixed an issue where medical items could not be used in certain situations.

Hotfix for version 0.58.7

Good day, fighters! 🫡

Today we’ve released a hotfix for version 0.58.7 with the following changes:
• Fixed overly dark nights in the game. In previous updates, we had already made the nights brighter, but in the latest version, this feature didn’t work as intended. We’ve corrected it now, and nights should once again be more comfortable to navigate. 😊
• Adjusted rewards for faction wars in the “Foothills” location. Based on player feedback, we’ve rebalanced the rewards. The drop rate for modification parts is now 100% (though the quantity may vary), and the drop rate for other reward items is now over 50%. Please note that we aim to maintain the rarity and exclusivity of modified armor, so the idea of scarcity for these parts will remain.
• Changed how points are awarded when using drones during blockpost wars. Destroying an enemy drone now grants up to 5% of the maximum capture points (in the “Foothills” location, this is up to 50 points), while destroying a friendly drone will deduct points. Additionally, if you kill a character that was spotted by a drone, the drone’s owner will receive 1 extra capture point for assistance.

The update is now available for download. Update your game client and get back into the action! 💥

Update 0.58.7 – Armor Modification

Greetings, Fighters! 🫡

Update 0.58.7 is now available for download, bringing new features and various improvements. Let’s dive into the details. 💥
Armor Modification
In this update, we’ve introduced the ability to modify your clothes, enhancing your protective stats. You can modify any piece of your equipment: helmets, body armor, pants, and boots. Even non-faction armor is eligible for modification. If you wish, you can even modify felt boots! However, an exception applies to armor plates — they cannot be modified. 🛡️

To modify any part of your equipment, you’ll first need to craft a clothing modification kit. Be warned: crafting a modification kit is no easy task—it demands skill, determination, and absolutely no tolerance for weakness! ⚒️

Before creating a clothing modification kit, you’ll need to acquire the recipe for crafting one. This recipe can be found with some chance in airdrops. Once you’ve obtained the recipe and installed it in your PDA, you’ll need to gather all the required components to assemble the kit. Two new items are now included in the list of required materials: Clothes Modification Blueprint and Armor Modification Parts.

• Clothes Modification Blueprint can be acquired by successfully completing Matador Events in the “Foothills” location.
• Armor Modification Parts are rewards for participating in blockpost defense battles in the “Foothills.” They are included in the loot for successfully capturing a blockpost.

Each kit applies two modifications simultaneously, altering the armor stats and durability. You can apply a maximum of two kits per piece of clothing, allowing up to four modifications (M4) per item.

Typically, applying a kit will enhance the protective stats of your gear at the expense of durability. However, in some cases, both protection and durability can improve. The maximum possible enhancement for armor stats is 20%.
Foothills Location
Significant updates have been made to the scoring system in this location. The system is now more adaptive, rewarding players with more points on average for actions that benefit their faction. Additionally, we have substantially reduced the point requirements for rewards from blockpost captures—nearly by half. At the same time, we’ve reworked the configuration and content of these rewards, introducing armor modification kit parts, along with repair kits for weapons and armor. This change aims to help players partially restore their equipment after intense PvP battles. Also we’ve increased points accumulation Speed during capturing.

Overall, the reward system in the Foothills has become more generous and fair to players who actively participate in faction conflicts.

We’ve also adjusted the prices offered by traders at blockposts in this location. Now, trading and selling loot to these merchants is as profitable as it is in the Canyon location. 💰
Recon Drone
This version introduces numerous improvements to the drone control interface, enhancing the marker system and enemy scanning functionality. Additionally, we’ve added the ability to repair drones independently using iSAAC through the character’s inventory. You’ll no longer need a second engineer to fix your drone, though repairs now consume more iSAAC.
Key changes include:

• The quick-access panel now indicates whether the drone is equipped with a grenade.
• Friendly drones show a green indicator during target scans, while enemy drones show red, making it easier to identify who is conducting reconnaissance.
• The drone control tablet now displays your group members, improving coordination during group activities.

To balance the simplified repair mechanics, drones now take significantly more damage from other players, meaning they can be destroyed much faster. If an opponent destroys your drone, it will no longer return to your inventory—it will be permanently lost.

Additionally, the number of points earned by drones during blockpost captures has been reduced. While we’re glad to see players utilizing drones for their excellent point-earning potential, they should not become the sole strategy for amassing large amounts of points.
Miscellaneous Changes
In addition to armor modifications, this update brings a range of significant changes aimed at enhancing gameplay and balancing the game:

• Adjustments to .308 M1/S1 Ammunition: In version 0.58.2, penetration was increased to 98 (up from the original 85). In this version, penetration has been reduced to 90, as the Mercenary class had become overly powerful at medium and close ranges. This change is expected to affect combat between Mercenaries and Miners, especially with the introduction of armor modifications. However, the impact on other classes should be minimal due to their use of light and medium armor.
• Reduced Recoil for MSR-10: While penetration has been slightly decreased, shooting performance has been improved.
• Increased PvP Damage for MSR-12: This adjustment aims to make the rifle more viable in PvP scenarios.
• Reduced Initial Bullet Velocity for 12-Gauge Ammunition.
• Grenade Skill Enhancements: Upgrading your grenade skill now affects not only throw accuracy (even for smoke grenades) but also damage. A mastered grenade skill ensures more consistent damage close to the maximum.
• Soon will be added a new Grenade - RG-60TB: This thermobaric grenade completely ignores armor but lacks shrapnel damage and includes a burn effect.
• Fixed an issue where leg fractures were not applied after grenade explosions.
• Airdrop Content Update: Added a new module with PDA recipes required for crafting armor modification kits.
• Female Character Models: Resolved several issues with animations and visuals.
• Target Marker Duration: Marker lifespans have been reduced to reflect their rapidly changing relevance.
• Stationary Machine Guns: Players can now aim while using these weapons.
• Minor bugs in various locations and issues with certain materials have been fixed.
• Dynamic Lighting Option: The “Full Dynamic Lighting” setting in graphics now toggles dynamic shadows in the game.

These changes, while diverse, aim to improve gameplay balance and quality across various aspects of the game.
