Update 1.0.0.18 Custom Lobbies
Update 1.0.0.18 is out!
We've released Custom Lobbies for Gridiron. You and your teammates can create a lobby and provide a code to your opponents to practice or scrim against each other. You can also invite players that can spectate.
This system is the basic framework which we plan to build upon. We are going to release further updates to improve spectator cameras, and to allow you to adjust match rules like quarter length and other parameters.
Casual Matches are now giving you a hidden rating (MMR) which will determine your skill level and learn as you play more games. We are letting this system run for a few days to learn about players before adjusting matchmaking to place you against players/teams of similar skill. When we turn on rated matchmaking, another news article will be posted.
You can now check the leaderboards for certain stats. These stats are wins, defensive sacks, receiving yards, passing yards. We will be adding more stats leaderboards soon.
We heard you when it came to training, so we are proud to say we added a new "Routes" training so you can test how different routes work and how to make better passes.
We've also fixed a few minor bugs in this update.
