Patch 1.0.4 - Ranked Mode Season One is Now Live!

Ranked Mode Season One is now live! This will be the game mode where players really work as a team and put their skills to the test. Queue up for some Ranked Mode matches now and play your placement games!

For competing in ranked mode, you will earn exclusive rewards at the end of the season, from avatar borders to awesome skins. Start your ranked conquest today and earn the best rewards in the game!

[h2]Role Queue System[/h2]
Ranked Mode utilizes the brand new role queuing system. You select your role before you queue and you’re guaranteed to play that position. If you want to play a popular role like Quarterback or Wide receiver, you will need to spend role queue points. In order to get role queue points, you have to queue less popular roles like Lineman. Players can also gain role queue points by queuing for all roles which will put you at whatever position will fill out a game. There is also a new party queue UI for Ranked Mode.

[h2]Preseason Period[/h2]
We will be starting with a preseason period where we will be monitoring ranked mode and making sure things go smoothly. During this period, players will be playing placement matches and gaining MMR, but their rank will be hidden. We would like everyone to play Ranked Mode during this time so that we can gather plenty of data/feedback!
