Usurpator – Patch Notes June 2025

[p]June brings a variety of quality-of-life improvements and new convenience features for all conquerors out there. Here are this month’s highlights:[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h3]🔧 Item Bar – Improved Handling[/h3]
  • [p]Items can now be added to or removed from the item bar using Ctrl + Left Click – quick and easy![/p]
  • [p]The auto-fill function for the item bar has been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Only usable objects can now be assigned.[/p]
  • [p]Assigned items that are not present in the inventory are now shown with darkened icons.[/p]
  • [p]Tooltips now support holding the Alt key to display additional information.[/p]
[hr][/hr][h3]⚒️ Forge & Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]The upgrade area in the forge window now also supports Ctrl + Left Click – quickly assign or remove weapons.[/p]
  • [p]Inventory slots now indicate an "IsBlocked" state if the item is currently in use.[/p]
  • [p]The "IsBlocked" state now also works for stacks.[/p]
  • [p]Tooltips in the Forge Improvement window have been fixed and now support the new interaction hotkeys.[/p]

The Future

[h3]Hi everyone![/h3]

Our Kickstarter campaign sadly did not reach its goal, but we are not giving up just yet!
We plan to continue the development at our usual pace and hope to have an Early Access
version of the game ready by Q1 2021!

Both Sebi and I thank each and everyone of you, for the support and feedback you are giving to us. We have come a long way and seeing the community grow is what keeps us going!

So what is next, you ask?
- Well, here are the things we are working towards rights now:

  • Create a coop adventure level, with an incorporated tutorial, so people have a better experience when they start with the game.

  • Integrate the talent system, so classes can have different builds.

  • Improve and expand the crafting system with new resources and items.



There are many things, bugs and improvements we are working on too, but those are the main tasks we are chipping away at right now.
We will use this ROADMAP to show our general progress.

We hope you stick with us and help us test the upcoming patches so we get a good idea of how our plans are shaking out.

Regarding the demo we sadly have to remove it due to the running server costs.
We will think about how we are going to let people get access to the pre alpha, now that the demo is going offline, but this might take a few weeks until we have a good solution.

For all the pre alpha testers who already have a key, there will be a server up for testing purposes. We will host a playtest with a new patch every Wednesday going forward too.

So that is it for now, we will keep you updated!

Patch day once again :) Nr.6 for the Demo!

  • New map: Mountain Top
  • New game mode: Survival (solo and coop)

[h3]Balancing:[/h3]

  • Improved bot ai in various ways
  • Increased Kick animation speed from 1.25 to 2
  • Increased Kick ray radius from 25 to 50
  • Increased Kick rotation rate from 0.8 to 1
  • roll now prevents you from being accelerated by a jump pad
  • Added Checkpoints to tutorial
  • Added one more Wave to tutorial
  • Tuned tutorial bot health pools
  • Made all cutscenes in the tutorial skippable
  • the parry window is now better predictable by allowing you to parry later into the enemy’s swing


[h3]Bug Fixes:[/h3]

  • Fixed: “gore rain” - no more limbs falling from the sky!
  • Fixed: no taunt while in air
  • Fixed: roll now prevents you from being accelerated by a jump pad

And here we go again another day, another Patch day :D Nr.4 for the Demo!

[h3]Balance changes:[/h3]

  • Tweaked damage values for all classes


[h3]Quality of life changes:[/h3]

  • In the equipment window, the stats screen now shows all damage values for all attacks
  • Improved interrupt feedback (now has a sound)


[h3]Bug Fixes:[/h3]

  • Fixed: Backstab now works as intended
  • Fixed: In team-deathmatch you now have to be in a team before you can select a class
  • Fixed: Parry now resets the combo window correctly
  • Fixed: Combo window is now canceled with a roll or a block
  • Fixed: Taunting while sprinting is no longer possible
