Update 42 brings the big guns in 2023! Let’s check everything out!

1. THE PROVING GROUNDS EVENT
Complete Proving Grounds levels to participate, score points and get powerful rewards in the new event dedicated to the epic PvE battle arena. The more levels and difficulties you conquer, the more points you will get. More points means that you will get closer to unlocking all event milestone prizes and rank higher in the overall players' leaderboard, allowing you to win better and better rewards based on your placement.

The event will be available as both a standard Solo event and as a Faction Solo variant, with surprises coming in the near future.

2. NEW OFFENSIVE COMMANDER ITEMS:
Four new Offensive Commander items are coming:
- Two inspired by the force of the Lunar New Year
- Two inspired by the cold-blooded Prototype Corps Renegades

Update 42 will also bring new offensive items, armor material and a powerful general chest.

3. THE LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
Enjoy ten days of absolutely festive fun on the World Map and at your base:
a) LUNAR DASH CHAIN EVENT: Join in the special events of the holiday season and get stunning rewards by fighting your way to the top of the leaderboard!

b) SPRING FESTIVAL MINI-GAME: Hunt the army of Pagodas all over the World Map. Gather them to get our holiday currency: Golden Coins! Exchange them with the Festive Trader (only available only during the Lunar New Year event) and he will give you exclusive prizes.

c) TWO NEW OFFENSIVE COMMANDER ITEMS

The "Coeus" Module will provide a mix of attack and defense to boost Commander Grahn’s units.

PROVING GROUNDS:
It is time to prove yourself! PROVING GROUNDS is an action-packed PvE battle arena where you will face various monstrous renegade enemies and PVE challenges on multiple tactical levels that increase in difficulty! And, of course, every level will give you awesome rewards!
PROVING GROUNDS will not only offer brand-new and exciting gameplay opportunities, but it will also offer powerful prizes while doing so!
The Commanders will not be left out. They will receive unique Proving Grounds abilities!

OFFENSIVE COMMANDER CRAFTING ITEMS:
Craft the new items from the Tech Factory and equip them on the Offensive Commanders, who will have their Equipment sections, Inventory tabs, and unique crafting material.
The Offensive items will be from the following types:
• Electronics
• Weapon System
• Armor Upgrade
The items will give two types of bonuses: Fixed and Random. An item will only be active when you use the Commander to whom it is attached.

NEW DEFENSIVE COMMANDER SKINS
Celebrate the Holidays with two new Defensive Commander Skins.
Introduced in the previous update, the holiday Skins not only look fantastic but also provide a special bonus to J. Trasher when equipped.

THE WARMONGERS ATTACK
Along with the new update, the Warmonger Renegades are coming, bringing a powerful new addition to their Gear Set!
The new item is the T5 Tactical Kit. It will yield Unit Damage when defending, Aerial Damage, and three random Defense bonuses.

THE WINTER FESTIVITIES:
THE WINTER RUMBLE CHAIN: Join the exclusive events in the Winter Rumble chain, conquer the Leaderboard and fill your bag with frosty rewards!

TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

QUALITY OF LIFE:
A) Tier-14 Modernization: From now on, you will be able to modernize Tier-14 Units with a level 35 Garage in accordance with what you can produce.
B) Commander-related updates
- Increased base armour value for all Commanders
- We decreased the damage scaling per rank-up for Commanders M. Kopka, E. F. Walker, L. Qing, and Y. Brandóttir.
- We decreased the base damage of Y. Brandóttir's ultimate ability, Thor's Hammer, from 200% to 150%. We also increased its energy requirement.
C) Province Occupation: Every time the occupier of a Province is changed and their health is under 30%, we will restore 10% of the Province's Health.
D) The renegade bases reset cooldown was reduced from 2h to 1h, and the renegade boss lv7 cooldown was reduced from 10mins to 2mins
E) Two maintenance facilities were added at levels 32 and 34
F) The first 2 skills of the offensive and defensive branch of the Trasher specialization were increased by 20 levels
G) Two new economy faction researches were added

FACTION WARS SEASON 8
The epic PvP feature is getting an exciting new season, bringing new rules, milestones to conquer, trophies, and powerful rewards.
Faction Wars Season 8 Rules
• Commander Damage increased by 50%
• Army Speed decreased by 50%
Additionally, the new Faction Wars trophies will boost
• Commander Damage when attacking
• Army size

RAMBO NARRATOR:
You will jump straight into the action with John Rambo as he leads you through the explosive events and challenges.

RAMBO CHAIN EVENTS:
We will have two chain events dedicated to the legendary movie. First, you will join Rambo in WELCOME TO HOPE.

After it, the FIRST BLOOD chain will commence!

Conquer the linked daily events of both chains, and you can win exclusive limited-edition Rambo rewards, which you would not be able to get after the chain event is over.

CODE OF HONOR MINI-GAME: Find and gather the High-Explosive Grenades planted all over the World Map. You can use the currency they contain at the Trader in exchange for exclusive items, including Rambo-themed ones.


RAMBO OFFENSIVE ADD-ONS:
1. RAMBO SHREDDER 82FB: The Shredder is inspired by the knife Rambo uses! It adds a special power-up in battle when a stack of enemy units dies. The Shredder also has a 5% chance to add up to two additional power-ups per dead enemy stack.

2. RAMBO BANDANNA: The add-on has a 14% initial chance to give a shield to a stack of friendly units when a stack of enemy units dies.

RAMBO CRAFTING SET: THE HUNTER
The Hunter Set enters the battleground with five items ready for you to craft. Each one will give three random Utility properties in addition to their other bonuses.

DEFENSIVE COMMANDER SKINS:
Update 40 brings festive skins for the Defensive Commander. We will release new ones during holiday events and other festivities. You can get skins using holiday-themed currency, which will not expire when the holiday ends.

When equipped, skins will give a special bonus to the player. The Defensive Commander skins will have rarities defining the bonus each skin has.

The first Defensive Commander decoration will be a RAMBO SKIN!


EQUIPMENT CRAFTING CHAIN EVENT: Inspired by the community proposal for the general event rewards, the event will allow you to win a powerful item as part of the spoils of war!


MECHANICS GEAR CRAFTING SET:
Four new items come in this new set, focusing on Unit Production Cost and Repair Costs: Modular Armor Plates (Armor Upgrade), Portable Heart Starter (Implant), V.I.S.I.O.N. Adaptor (Electronics), and 33mm Mega Mag (Ammo).


COMMUNITY SUGGESTIONS:
Commander Ylva skill nerfing: We decreased the stun time from Thor's Hammer to one turn.

New Trader offers purchasable with various existing currencies.


QUALITY OF LIFE:
Increased Trasher health growth from 1.5 to 1.6, improving his ability to resist an attack on your base.

Survived-units rate increased

Scout Report upgrade: From now on, Scout Reports will only show what is not protected by the Vault.

FACTION WARS SEASON 7
This epic PvP feature is getting a brand-new exciting Season! It brings new rules, milestones to conquer, and, of course, powerful rewards.

We increased the Faction Wars Rewards per Score. You can get even more Repair Gear currency depending on your performance and luck.

Season 7 Rules:
This new season brings two new rules to the table:
1. Defender Damage is increased by 100%.
2. Commander Damage is decreased by 50%.

Season 7 Rewards:
New Faction Wars Trophies — Absorber! They will affect Damage when Defending and Army Size. The amount depends on the rarity of the Trophy you have.

New Faction Wars Frame - Invulnerable

Alongside their deadly vehicles spread across the world map, they also arrive with three new items in their gear set:

Crimson Vest Exoskeleton: It gives bonus Armor to all units and bonus Damage when Attacking.
"Phoenix" Portable Key Electronics: It gives bonus Damage when Attacking and bonus Damage to all units.
