Demiplane brings matchmaking to TaleSpire

We are delighted to publicly announce our partnership with Demiplane, which is the stand-out matchmaking service for tabletop gamers.

Finding and organizing a party for your adventures can be surprisingly complicated, and common solutions often fall short. Up until now we have been curating a Looking For Group channel in our Discord server, but to improve this experience for our community, we wanted to turn to the experts.
It’s a match made in heaven!

At Demiplane, we found a passionate team dedicated to bringing people together and enhancing every step of the gameplay experience. Through matchmaking, journaling, and chat, they elevate not just the play session itself but those moments before and after.

To bring this alliance to life, Demiplane have not only added TaleSpire as a supported platform, but have given users the option to use TaleSpire artwork in the adventure portal. They have also provided us with the tools to make a TaleSpire-focused view into the Demiplane service.

A big thanks also goes to the members of our Discord community who have been helping us test out the portal and giving us feedback over the last month. We’re proud to say that now, that portal is ready for you to take your first steps through.
This, of course, is just the beginning

Both TaleSpire and Demiplane are constantly striving towards improvement, and this makes us excited for the future. We can’t wait to see how this partnership evolves over the coming years, and we look forward to seeing how your stories flourish.

Until then, whichever plane you find yourself in, happy adventuring!

HeroForge Support is Coming To TaleSpire

It’s the announcement many of you have been waiting for, and now we can gladly say it’s official: TaleSpire will be getting integrated HeroForge support!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

The ability to summon your custom miniatures directly into the game will soon be in your hands, and we can’t wait to see what wondrous characters you populate your worlds with. Our goal is to help you bring your rich storyscapes to life with TaleSpire, so this upcoming integration means a great deal to us.

The folks over at HeroForge have been simply awesome throughout this process, and are just as excited as us to finally make this announcement. It’s a delight to work with them.

We have already worked on some prototypes: you can see HeroForge being used in TaleSpire during the Extra Credits streamThe Seven that ran on Friday 27th August, and in this week’s episode of Dimension 20’s new series, The Seven, which is airing over at dropout.tv.

We have begun working on the full integration, but there is much legwork to be done and we can’t offer a release date yet. We will update you again later in September, but for now, know that we are incredibly excited, and we look forward to making this available to you.

Until then, happy questing!

Early Access Patch 17
UPDATE: We Introduced a bug with Fire and doors. It has now been fixed with a hotfix: BUILD ID : 7242204.
This Patch mainly features Knockdown. Our first persistent emote, or Status "effect". Persistent Emotes stay enabled on the creature till the effect is toggled "off" and is the foundation for doing things like Status Effects. You can find it via a new subtree added in the Creature Radial menu, where it can be toggled.

It also works on converted props... most of the time.
Features:
• Added Knockdown Status Emote (Persistent Emote)
Fixes:
• Fixed where Debug button would overlap menu. It was based on Screen DPI, but is now based on InGame UI Pixel Scale.
 • Fixed Street Lanterns. The lanterns now show correctly when placed.
 • Fixed where bookmark icon wouldn't get masked in Campaign board menu.

Hope everyone enjoys this Patch.

Till next time!

NOTE: This patch required a lot of assets to be rebuilt, hence the large download size.
