After our recent collaboration with Eldritch Foundry and some time at the digital forge, we’re excited to unleash this first batch of Hero and NPC miniatures who are ready to populate your world and give players more options for their characters.

It's with a lot of excitement today that we announce our partnership with Eldritch Foundry! Integrating their tooling into our asset pipeline will allow us to scale up our production of miniatures and deliver the variety of characters that people are waiting for.

We have long loved the idea of working with Eldritch Foundry and have been talking with them on and off since the Beta was released. They have an excellent range of races with fantastic attention to detail that really shines through in their printed miniatures.

Naturally, we have been testing integrating Eldritch Foundry in our pipeline and the results have been excellent. By using such detailed sculpts as a base, we've seen reductions in the time required to make a miniature of up to a third. The following screenshot represents about a week and a half of work from one artist working part-time.



To the fans who had noticed our focus on monsters recently, this was why. We knew that we would soon have much better tools for making heroes and so we were holding off until that time came. Thank you for bearing with us!

The question of how we would handle scaling up our asset production has been raised many times in and out of the community. It's a real pleasure to present the first substantial part of our answer to that.

Coming up in this Booster Pack is a community request. Flat Roof Tiles for all current roofs. As seen in the image above, there are 14 new tiles in total, allowing for those smooth, flat roofs builders have been craving.

Introducing flying creatures!

Now you can enable flying on a Creature as a GM by togging flying in the Creature Radial Menu. Then, controlling players can set a Creature's flight height by holding the left-CTRL while carrying the mini.

You can control the mini both from the top of the indicator tower and at the base. Flying creatures will try to maintain world height when moving around. This resets when it is dropped, or verticality dragged.

This is the initial flying release, we'll be tweaking and changing things as we go.
