Bug Fixes: City Game Studio Devlog Update

Hello everyone!

It's time for another weekly devlog, where I share the progress made in City Game Studio. I hope you all had a great week! Let's dive into what's new in the game.

First, I want to highlight a significant improvement: the bug reporting feature. Your bug reports now provide me with more detailed information, allowing me to reproduce and address issues more effectively. Thank you for helping us make City Game Studio even better!

In addition to this, I focused on bug fixing this week as we prepare for the upcoming update. Several bugs have been squashed, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience. Specifically, I found three bugs related to the dark interface theme, where some text elements were not visible or difficult to read. Rest assured, these issues have been resolved.

Managing exclusivity contracts for custom consoles was a bit complicated before, but not anymore! You can now customize the contract duration and the quantity of devkits sent to competitors. This flexibility gives you more control over your game releases.

As we approach the release of the update, I also took the time to address other minor issues, such as translation problems with Steam achievements.

I want to express my gratitude to all of you for your continued support and feedback. It truly helps in shaping the game and making it the best it can be. Remember to keep an eye out for the upcoming update, as it brings exciting new features and improvements!

Thank you all for being a part of this journey. Now, go and enjoy playing City Game Studio!

Warm regards,
Xavier aka Binogure

New Customizations and Bug Fixes in the Game

Hello everyone!

It's Saturday, which means it's time for me to talk about the progress made this week on my game development studio management game. I'm happy to announce that the beta update on Steam is ready, with lots of improvements and bug fixes.

Let's start with the bugs: I've fixed several issues in the game, including a bug on a button that wasn't clickable at all times, as well as another bug that affected the human resources list, where some employees were not listed. I've also fixed a bug that allowed players to continue playing even after cracking a competitor's game and losing. There was also a bug in the game engine feature that has been fixed. Now, the button that allows you to view engine features during game creation is disabled when you don't have an engine.

As for new features, I've added better customization for hair and beards for characters, which will make your game studio characters even more unique and memorable. I've also added doors to studios, or elevators if they are large studios. This adds a small touch of realism and detail that will make your studio even more immersive.

Since the update is coming soon, I mainly worked on fixing bugs, but I hope you'll also enjoy the new features. Don't forget to play the Steam beta to take advantage of all these improvements and feel free to give me your feedback and suggestions.

Thank you for your continued support and see you next week for a new devlog!

Best regards,
Xavier aka Binogure

Addition of Studio Building and New Planning Features

Hello everyone,

It's me again, Xavier aka Binogure, with another weekly devlog to keep you informed of the progress of my game. This week has been productive, and I've added some important features.

Firstly, I've added a new building to the game. Before, the studios seemed to be floating in the void, but now they have a visual context surrounding them. This new building was designed to be realistic and offer a sense of immersion in the game environment.

Additionally, I've also added a feature that allows players to check the engine features that will be available during the upcoming stages of game creation. This feature will help players better plan the creation of their game and make the most of the console capabilities. It will also help to better understand how the game works and how it can be optimized to offer a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience.

These features have been added to the beta branch of Steam, which means they are available for all players who want to try the game. Don't hesitate to give us your feedback, suggestions, and remarks on these new features.

Thank you for taking the time to read my weekly devlog. I invite you all to play the game and share your impressions with me. See you next week for more updates and new features!

Sincerely,
Xavier aka Binogure

We are almost there

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all doing well! I've been working hard this week on some new features for City Game Studio. I've completely overhauled the server management interface to make it more user-friendly and added some cool new graphics.

I've also added three new achievements for you to unlock. These ones are a bit more challenging, though! You'll need to reach one million users on your digital store, publish a AAA game in the 90s, and create your own game console before the end of the 90s. Good luck!

And for all you fashionistas out there, I've added some new hairstyles and facial hair options, including the classic bald look.

Oh, and speaking of improvements, I've also fixed the confusing button descriptions that were causing some issues. Now you'll know exactly what you need to do to unlock each button.

Finally, I want to thank you all for your help in finding influencers for City Game Studio. I've reached out to all of them and I'm hoping it will give us some more visibility in the coming days and weeks.

That's all for now! Have a great weekend and keep on gaming!

Cheers,
Xavier aka Binogure
