Beta Patch - v0.7.0b12

Greetings captains!

The development of chapter 6 is almost finished. We still need to add a few more illustrations and fix some bugs and performance issues. We plan to release the public version in a couple of weeks.

  • 50 new illustrations have been added for the events and missions of the new chapter. Some more illustrations for the final events still need to be added.
  • Some of the old illustrations have been modified.
  • Two new music themes have been added for the final missions.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Captain to be assigned more points than available for their level.
  • Fixed a bug that caused automatic weapons to fire when a battle was paused.
  • Fixed a bug that caused links to neighboring sectors in the star map not to display correctly.
  • Several errors in the text have been fixed.
  • Locations have been updated.

The development of Chapter 6 is well underway. Currently we only need to add the music, which is being composed, and several illustrations for the new events. Once this is done, we will release the update publicly.

  • We have created a new animation for combat dice rolls.
  • Sheep is now played by another voice actor. We have replaced all the audios of Sheep with the new ones.
  • Hacked ships in Beyond the Sun mission are now marked as allies.
  • We have modified the battle in mission Journey's End and more enemy ships have been added.
  • We have improved the visual effects of the destruction of the stations.
  • We have added new illustrations in various events.
  • We have added a glitch effect in the interface that is triggered when Hydra goes out of control.
  • We have fixed several text errors.

Beta Patch - v0.7.0b10

  • A new animation has been created for dice rolls. Now, the die with the highest value is highlighted to avoid confusion and doubts about the result of the roll.
  • We have made improvements in the final cutscenes of the game.
  • We have corrected some texts.

Beta Patch - v0.7.0b9

  • We have added a new defensive system: the AM-380 Anti-Mine Cannon is an anti-aircraft defense system capable of destroying explosive mines. When there are no mines nearby, the AM-380 causes light damage to enemy ships within shot.
  • Description has been added to the Lucky attribute.
  • We have fixed a bug that caused the automatic targeting system to stop working when RB was held down using a controller.
  • We have fixed a bug that caused two of the Genesis defensive weapons to be placed on the wrong sides of the ship.
  • Now when HYDRA is activated the power of the engines, weapons and shields goes up to maximum.
  • We have cut some of the voice dialogs of the mission Mortal Enemies in order to make it not excessively long.
  • We have fixed a bug that caused lasers to hit a few meters away from enemy ships.
  • We have reduced the probability of enemies to equip weapons capable of stunning the player.
  • We have reduced the time in which the player is stunned by an enemy attack.

Beta Patch - v0.7.0b8

  • A new system has been added: Electromagnetic Shielding Generator. It offers the ability Electromagnetic Shielding which makes the ship resistant to any electromagnetic pulse.
  • We have fixed a softlock in the Prodigal Son mission.
  • We have fixed some text errors.
