Patch 9292

This is a small emergency fix for an issue that was introduced in Patch 9289 at the end of the game. Sorry about that! The patch is live for Windows and will be live for Mac about two hours after this is posted.

  • Fix for softlock caused by the hand not appearing at the end of Singular.
  • Added "Delete Save Data" button to the Options menu.

Our next task will be adding save checkpoints to various places in the game. We'll keep you updated as those are implemented. Thanks for your support!

Patch 9289

Hello all! It's been a bit, but we've been hard at work over the past week, and we have a big patch today:

  • Fix for a softlock in Reflections molecules interaction, caused by viewing the Golden Boy photo for too long which caused the molecules to change position.
  • Fix for softlocks caused by 3D character animations not completing if the player releases the mouse button during the animation (mostly in Seeding).
  • Fix for a softlock in Singularity caused by multiple golden spirals occupying the same space in the inventory hand.
  • Prevent the player from walking backwards and bypassing the constraining walls in the Saturn section of Starstruck.
  • Prevent the player from launching themselves off the central black hole in Singularity.
  • Performance improvements in Singularity and Singular, mainly intended to address out-of-memory crashes on Switch.
  • Fix for song lyrics not disappearing after the song is over in Singular. (endgame spoiler)
  • Camera edge panning now behaves correctly on widescreen displays.

We've also made several accessibility improvements:

  • Added option to allow middle click to toggle holding down the left mouse button. This is enabled in the Options menu. An icon in the lower left corner will appear if the hold feature is on.
  • Left/Right/A/D keys can be used for the spinning interactions.
  • Improved gamepad feel in Collision Lab, so the knobs aren't annoying to use.
  • Improved gamepad feel in Improvisation. Try pressing other controller buttons during the city builder section!

Thanks for your support!

Patch 9263

  • Added "Enable / Disable Flicker" option.
  • Added "Always Run" option.
  • Give achievements for levels finished from the Chapter Select menu.
  • Changed "Save" button to "Save Settings" to avoid confusion.
  • Fix for incomplete Mac logging issue.
  • Potential fixes in Thaw and Starstruck for softlocks caused by cursors not being activated.

Enabling the "Always Run" option will cause your character to always run on click, instead of requiring a double-click.

Thanks!

Patch 9245

Lots of stuff this time!

  • Fix for some (potentially all?) visual issues seen on some Mac machines.
  • Improved performance and anti-aliasing on Mac.
  • Fix for Mac version being unable to complete the rings interaction in Orbiting.
  • Fix for the clock becoming incorrect in Voyage if you drag the minute hand counter-clockwise.
  • Fix for softlock caused by clicking the clock too early during the intro cutscene in Voyage.
  • Really seriously prevent the player from walking into the river in Collision.
  • Potential fix for the big performance drop a few players were experiencing when planting the first seed in Seeding.
  • Adjusted camera in Improvisation to make reaching the far ends of the slider easier.
  • Prevent the player from being able to exit the village scene in Thaw while an item is being inspected.

If you encounter any other issues, check the bugs thread or email [email protected]. Thanks for your support!
