Howdy everyone,

GRIT’s Early Access launch that was planned for Jan 25th has been delayed. We were really looking forward to riding across the frontier with you and releasing what amounted to years of hard work into the world, but we’re not quite ready.

We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we have a new date and keep you updated. Please do meet up with us on Discord for the latest news and updates.

It’s official - GRIT is entering Early Access on Tuesday, January 25!

After years of hard work, we're excited to show off the unique gunslinging gameplay of our Wild West royale.

Every game of GRIT is different - from Train Chase to Golden Horse, you’ll have to stay on your toes to survive in an evolving frontier.

Plus, with a variety of missions to complete, Logbooks to fill out, and cosmetics to unlock, there's always a reason to keep coming back for more!

January 25th is right around the corner - we've saved you a spot at the table, so we hope you'll pull up a chair and join us for a game. Add GRIT to that wishlist, mark that calendar, dust off that saddle, and get ready to head out West! We'll see you there!

Last month, we were hard at work in our game forge, hammering away furiously in preparation for our intended Early Access launch — although we did take some occasional breaks to playtest with our friendly and dedicated GRIT community.

While GRIT is a lot of fun to play right now, the past three weeks of playtests and player commentary had us thinking a lot about the game, and how we picture the game’s future. After a whirlwind of intense discussion, everyone was in agreement that GRIT needs more development time in order for it to truly shine.

So we made a very tough call and decided to move the release of GRIT to early 2022.



This extra time gives us a chance to complete all the work we have planned and then some, including comprehensive improvements to animations, player progress tracking, features unique to our game that we’ve been excited about putting into action, and much more — all polished up to glitter like a bar of gold.

We really want to thank our incredible community for joining our playtests and giving us such invaluable feedback. You’re the reason why we do what we do, which is making sure GRIT is a fun game that’s worthy of your time when we properly release it on Steam.

For future playtests we will likely take a few weeks to make material improvements and then announce more playtests. Stay tuned and see you in Sunrise County!

Please make sure to meet up with us on Discord, because more news is coming soon, and that’s the very first place you’ll hear about it. We can hardly contain our excitement about the changes we are working on, and we want you to be right there with us as we head into this new frontier.

Now is your last chance to drop into GRIT for free before it hits Early Access on September 1st! This final free playtest will be live for the next 4 days, 24 hours a day, and ends on Sunday, Aug 29nd at 9pm Pacific Time (5am BST).

If you haven’t tried GRIT yet, jump over to the GRIT Steam Store page and hit that Request Access button - you’ll be dropping into Sunrise County in no time!

In preparation for Early Access, make sure to join our community on Discord. There, you’ll meet the trailblazers and pioneers of our GRIT community, as well as be able to give your feedback directly to the development team.

During last week’s GRIT playtest, there were plenty of epic showdowns, including this nice shot from KatContii to close out a game. And there will be more streamers trying out GRIT during this week’s playtest, so look out, because you never know who might show up at the next showdown.

Head on over and press that Request Access button on the GRIT Steam Store page now, and we’ll instantly grant you access to ride into Sunrise County.

The playtest will be live for the next 4 days, 24 hours a day, and ends on Sunday, Aug 22nd at 9pm Pacific Time (5am BST).

And if you’ve got some time between matches, be sure to join the developers and our great community on Discord. There, you’ll be able to easily find a partner to ride with in Duos or Squads, and get any questions you might have answered by the developers themselves.
