Howdy Partners!

Grab your favorite hat and your trusty steed - the GRIT playtest is now live and free to all Steam players! Just press that Request Access button on the GRIT Steam Store page now, and we’ll grant you access to ride into Sunrise County. The playtest will be live 4 days each week, 24 hours a day, and ends on Sunday, Aug 15th at 9pm Pacific Time (5am BST).

And if you’ve got some time between matches, be sure to join the developers and our great community on Discord. We’re just delighted to announce that GRIT launches into Steam Early Access on September 1st! GRIT will be $19.99 USD, a discounted price only offered during the Early Access period. The full price when GRIT comes out of Early Access and fully releases will be $29.99.

In less than a month, the sweeping vistas of Sunrise County will be calling on gunslingers around the world, to join the ultimate Wild West battle royale showdown. Be sure to wishlist GRIT on Steam, and join our Discord to meet up with our fast-growing community and the Team GRIT dev team.

Want to get an advance look at GRIT before our Early Access launch? You can playtest GRIT for free starting on August 12! Just check out our weekly playtest schedule and mark up those calendars.

For the past 4 months, we’ve playtested GRIT with our exceptional community, who have provided us invaluable feedback. We’ve been hard at work hammering everything into shape — gameplay, animations, graphics, and so much more.

We’re pleased to announce our next round of playtests, starting on August 12th!

Week 1 Starts: Thursday, 9am Pacific Time (5pm BST) on August 12, 2021
Ends: Sunday, 9pm Pacific Time (5am BST) on August 15, 2021

Week 2 Starts: Thursday, 9am Pacific Time (5pm BST) on August 19, 2021
Ends: Sunday, 9pm Pacific Time (5am BST) on August 22, 2021

Week 3 Starts: Thursday, 9am Pacific Time (5pm BST) on August 26, 2021
Ends: Sunday, 9pm Pacific Time (5am BST) on August 29, 2021

You’ll notice that the tests are open for 4 days each week, 24 hours a day - that’s four straight days of gunslinging action in Sunrise County, for you and your friends! Make sure to Request Access on the GRIT Steam store page so that you’re granted a free key in order to participate.



So, were you wondering where we’ve been? Did you miss us?

We took a short break to have our first in-person team gathering. There was mirth, merriment, and Texas BBQ. We discussed the remaining work before Early Access, the next wave of tests, and the best ways to herd lots of new players into our testing ranch.

We are shooting for our largest player turnout yet, with more server uptime than ever. So polish up your rifles, beat the dust out of your hats, and get ready for the biggest and baddest GRIT playtest you’ve ever seen!

And if you’re a newcomer to our Wild West Royale, be sure to join our growing community on Discord, to join up with other gunslingers and shoot the breeze with the Team GRIT dev team. We’d be happy to have you around!

We’re bringing the heat at the top of July with our next round of weekly playtests! So get fired up, head into Sunrise County this Thursday and Friday, and join up with our growing community for a Western Royale showdown with the development team!


Thursday - July 1:

We’ll be rotating between Solos, Duos, and Squads action, so be sure to join our Discord where you can chat with the devs and the GRIT community! And when it comes time to team up for Duos and Squads, you are bound to find some experienced desperadoes in our #looking-for-players channel!

As always, our pre-Early Access GRIT playtests are free, and if you accumulate enough Beta XP, you’ll be eligible for a reward in the full game!

Whether it’s a fistfight in Fortunato, or a fiery finish in Fort Whickett, we’ve got all the Wild West action you’ve been waiting for! Let’s ride!

We’re ready to pull on our boots, pick up our lucky hat, and dive into Sunrise County with you for two days of Wild West gunslinging action! It’s our favorite time of the week, which is why we do it every week!

You continue to be a tremendous help identifying issues and sharing feedback (plus some great laughs) with us on our Discord as we conquer the GRIT pre-Early Access playtesting adventure together.
