For those that wish to commune, read on.[/p][p]Today we’re excited to announce that this year’s Crimson Eye, Phasmophobia’s annual Halloween event, will start in-game from 9th October - 31st October. During the event, Ghost Hunters will be tasked with working together to complete goals in order to unlock in-game rewards. As with Cursed Hollow earlier this year, we have made several adjustments to the previous iteration of the event to make sure those taking part in the event have both an enjoyable and rewarding experience.[/p][p]Find out the details below on what you can expect to find in-game.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Witness the Blood Moon[/p][p]Throughout the event, select maps will play host to guaranteed Blood Moon weather. Be warned, Ghost Hunters, for when the Blood Moon has risen you’ll face a more difficult challenge when conducting your investigations. Ghosts will have increased speed during hunts and your Sanity will drain quicker, however in return you’ll be granted higher rewards upon completing an investigation.[/p][p]The below maps will be this year’s event locations;[/p]

[p]These maps will rotate in groups of 4 each day and will guarantee Blood Moon weather. Maps not included in the event, as well as those above that are not active on a given day, will have a random chance of Blood Moon weather as always.[/p][p][/p][p]Receive Rewards[/p][p]For those who are successful in their investigations during the rise of the Blood Moon, various offerings shall be bestowed upon you. Firstly, all rewards received during Blood Moon weather will be boosted by 10%, meaning the higher the risk, the higher the reward.[/p][p][/p][p]On top of extra rewards from successful investigations, the Crimson Eye will bestow upon the community a range of rewards should they successfully complete the goals set out at the start of the event.[/p][p][/p][p]As with Cursed Hollow, we have introduced a split between Community Goals and Personal Goals based on feedback from previous events. A list of the Crimson Eye goals and their rewards can be found below:[/p][p][/p]

• [p]Community Goal 1 - Receive the Child of the Cult ID Card & Badge set.[/p]
• [p]Community Goal 2 - Receive the Blood Moon trophy*.[/p]

• [p]Personal Goal 1 - Receive the animated Child of the Cult ID Card.[/p]
• [p]Personal Goal 2 - Upgrade the Crimson Eye trophy (can be completed 3 times).[/p][p][/p]

[p]Once these goals have been reached, the rewards will be auto-claimed for all players so there’s no need to worry about missing out![/p][p]*Please note: If you unlocked the Blood Moon trophy in 2024, you will not receive another.[/p][p]October is an exciting time for Phasmophobia each year, and this one will be no different. • [p]5th Anniversary Celebration: To mark Phasmophobia’s 5th anniversary, the main lobby has been adorned with all manner of birthday decor.[/p]
• [p]Anniversary Bonus: Between 15th September and 21st September, all players will earn double XP and money from all activities! This will appear as a “5th Anniversary - x2” modifier in the Debriefing screen.[/p]
• [p]Anniversary Login Reward: Log in during the anniversary week to receive an exclusive anniversary-themed badge—a thank you for being part of 5 years of Phasmophobia.[/p]

• [p]The Twitch Drops pop-up now displays the username of the connected Twitch account, making it easier to confirm the player’s account is linked correctly.[/p]

• [p]Added a Disconnect button to the Twitch Drops pop-up, allowing the player to unlink their Twitch account directly from the popup for added convenience.[/p]

We’ve got some news for you.[/p][p]This week marks 5 years since Phasmophobia launched on Steam and the very first Ghost Hunters were sent to investigate reports of paranormal activity.[/p][p]To say the following 5 years surpassed everything we at Kinetic Games could have ever imagined would be an understatement and we are forever grateful to over 25 million of you who have joined us on this journey so far.[/p][p]From today, 15th September, we’ll be celebrating in a variety of ways. While we won’t spoil everything today, we’ll at least give you a clue at what to expect.[/p][p][/p][p]IN-GAME[/p][p][/p][p]A 5 year celebration wouldn’t be complete without a party. Starting today, the lobby will be dressed to the nines and we’ll be hosting our first ever Double XP challenge through to 21st September. All activities completed during this time will reward players with double XP, marked down as ‘’5th Anniversary – x2’’ on your debriefing screen after finishing a game.[/p][p]Also, upon logging in to Phasmophobia for the first time during the anniversary window, players will receive the Veteran ID card and badge. Stay tuned to our social channels for exact release timings.[/p][p][/p][p]TWITCH DROPS[/p][p]Starting on the same day as our Double XP event in-game, we’ll be kicking off our next Twitch Drops campaign for all Phasmophobia streamers.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This campaign will be available to all Phasmophobia streamers to distribute the animated version of the Veteran ID Card & Badge to their community for watching a total of 2 hours of Phasmophobia streams. This campaign will launch at 12PM BST Monday 15th September and run until 12PM BST Monday 22nd September.[/p][p]If you haven’t yet linked your game to your Twitch account, you can do so by following these steps:[/p][p]We’ll also be deploying an update on the same day that addresses a couple of requested iterations to how Twitch Drops work in game;[/p]

• [p]The Twitch Drops pop-up screen will now display the name of the connected account, making it easier to confirm that the player has connected the correct account.[/p]
