Loot PvP Update [8/12/2019]

Loot has been improved so that you are now guaranteed to get better much better stat rolls in higher level zones. Superiors will now give you minimum stat rolls of (level-20), Rares (level-15) and Elites (level-10).

The chance of finding Superiors, Rares and Elites from normal loot spots has been increased by 50%

The PvP Rank system has been reworked slightly. It works similar to before, except that there are now only 5 ranks. In addition, you killing or dying to someone now only changes your rank score rather than the rank itself. In order to gain a rank you must reach a score of 10, and in order to lose one it must drop below 0. In theory this should make it easier to find opponents to play against, but it will take a little more actual fighting to rank up.

NOTE: You may need to exit the game and reload it before some of these changes will take effect.

I am now working on Outpost Attacks. This is a larger and more complex update which will probably take me at least a week to complete, so please don't be surprised if you don't see more updates for a while. Don't worry it'll be worth the wait :smiley:

Balance-Update [8/11/2019]

The +50% HP and +50% EXP buff given to special infected yesterday, now only applies to level 25+ areas as the difficulty spike between level 10 and 15 became too large.

Special infected's run duration has been shortened again, but their chance of being a runner has increased by 50%

Special infected now have a 2x higher chance of applying a status effect to you.

Aggro whilst using melee weapons has been halved in all non-boss areas.

*NOTE: Some of these changes will only take effect after quitting out and going back into the game.*

Mini-Update [8/10/2019]

Higher tier zombies (burning, bloody, irradiated and sick) have been made tougher (+50% HP, +50% EXP, +35% Damage, increased chance to vomit and longer run durations) as most people said they were too easy once you get some decent gear + skills.

Bloody Tendril has received a slight nerf (she now does stop running briefly).

DF1 reward cosmetics have been added to the shop so that those of you who don't play DF1 have a chance to obtain them. Includes gun skins.

Spawn protection in PvP raised to 10 seconds

NOTE: Some of these changes will only take effect after restarting the game

Mini-Update [8/9/2019]

Basic account stash size has been doubled
Amount of slots you get from buying slots upgrade has been increased
People who already bought slot upgrades have had them tripled
Spawn protection in PvP reduced from 20 seconds to 5 seconds

Update Version 0.132 [8/9/2019]

  • There is now an auto-map to help you find your way around buildings! Simply press M whilst in a building to bring it up.

  • You can now see other player's Steam profiles by pressing E on them and going to Profile > Steam profile. This should make it a lot easier to make friends and meet-up with each-other in-game.

  • I have adjusted the new PvP rank system so that there are 20 ranks instead of 10 as it was just a little too easy to hit rank one under the old system. I suspect I'll need to make further tweaks as time goes on too.

  • The three outpost markets have been unified, meaning all buying and selling going forward will be linked.

  • Account stashes have also been unified.

  • Private trades can now happen between anyone, anywhere in the game.

  • The price of cosmetics has been halved as an experiment to see how it impacts purchasing behaviour.

  • The price of skill resets have also been lowered to 100 credits. Again this may be changed back in the future.

  • A bug with mission cash rewards was fixed.

  • A bug with stair sound effects was fixed.

  • Lobby title location was removed to prevent any confusion.

  • Certain random sound effects were reduced in frequency to them less repetitive.
