Weekly update to introduce new maps

We are bringing down the servers temporarily to update the game at this time. This update will include a set of new maps to supplement the existing matches and continue with our promise of delivering new maps each week. We are only removing one map that has a lighting error that we deem to be a candidate for removal.

This downtime is expected to last 10-15 minutes.

Technical Update 427A

This was a small technical update sent overnight to improve quality of life in the game by fixing several issues that have shown up after our first day after launch.

  • Improvement of player interpolation to reduce amount that players skip or jump around
  • Improvements to aim interpolation to improve the registration of hits
  • Reduced performance hit caused by unnecessary simulations other players
  • Removal of a debug scoreboard that allowed players to change teams
  • Bug fix for some cases where join in progress would fail

Beta on August 20th

We are ready to open Due Process to the public, and with that, we will be moving from an invite-only Alpha to a public Beta on Thursday August 20th. That’s next week!

This will be a paid Beta. This means that you will be able to buy the game directly on Steam for $24.99 (or regional equivalent). Buying it during the Beta will also give you access on release. You will not have to buy the game twice. The game will be sold on an unlisted store-page - you could call it a guerilla Beta. People browsing the Steam store will still see the game as “coming soon”. You must follow a special direct link in order to purchase the game. This is done to prevent people from just casually wandering in. Additionally you might not be able to purchase the game at all times, depending on whether or not we need more players and the stability of our servers.
