Official Release Patch Notes – Reticle Customization and Ashen Eye Exp. Bonus (7.21.2019)

Dear Adventurers,

Welcome to the latest official patch notes for Ring of Elysium. Here are the full details:


Ashen Eye
  • To bring a more enjoyable matchmaking experience, the Ashen Eye gamemode will now provide a 3X experience bonus for 4 hours per day based on each server’s local time zone, for each server’s time frame, please refer to the following:
    • NA- every day at 18:00-22:00, Pacific Daylight Time
    • EU- every day at 18:00-22:00, Greenwich Mean Time
    • AS- every day at 18:00-22:00, GMT+8


Attachments
  • Added customization for reticle styles and brightness
    • The default keybinds for switching reticle style is [Page up] and [Page down]
    • The default keybinds for adjusting reticle brightness is [Numpad +] and [Numpad -]
    • Each scope’s brightness and style is memorized individually
    • The red-dot scope has 4 styles and 2 colors
    • The holographic scope has 3 styles and 2 colors
    • The 4X scope has 3 styles
    • Other scopes don’t have any customizable styles at the moment


Client
  • Slightly optimized client’s RAM usage in Ashen Eye mode


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the scope appeared to be blurry when ADSing and moving at the same time
  • Fixed an issue where vehicle explosions caused players to be eliminated in Training Mode
  • Fixed an incorrect rescue helicopter spot
  • Fixed an issue where Citori’s ammunition was shown incorrectly
  • Fixed an issue where the Scorpion EVO3 A1’s default skin had incorrect textures
  • Fixed several clipping issues with stones
  • Fixed an issue where certain items’ LOD distance were too close
  • Fixed an issue where the character moving sound effect on certain beaches were incorrect
  • Fixed an issue where some walls had incorrect collisions
  • Fixed an issue where the text on elimination boxes, announcements, and player reporting UI was too small in some cases
  • Fixed an issue where certain weapons didn’t have ash accumulation visual effects
