Here's everything you need to know about the Amazon Cup!
Greetings Adventurers!
In case you haven’t heard, Ring of Elysium is currently hosting a very special event, The Amazon Cup! We’ve partnered up with Amazon and Twitch content creators to bring everyone an in game tournament that is different from anything we’ve done in the past. From July 2nd - August 11th, Community members can participate in a few different ways so we’re going to get right into explaining not only how you can get involved, but the sweet prizes that are also up for grabs!

The Amazon Cup is an in game online tournament open to all players in North America and Europe featuring the new game mode Ashen Eye. There are two different sides to the Amazon cup, and players can choose to participate in as many of the events as they’d like! To break things down a bit, we’ll be going over each of the events individually since there will be different prizes available based upon the event.
The Amazon Cup will be hosting in game qualifiers weekly which is how players will be able to qualify for the Regional finals. Here is how players are about to sign up for the qualifiers:

The Regional Championships will take place online on Saturday August 10 (EU) and Sunday August 11 (NA). This event will be broadcasted on Twitch via the WSOE channel (twitch.tv/wsoe), where the same scoring rules will apply and each region will contain 60 total players, featured as 20 separate teams comprised of 3 players each who will compete to see who wins.

The “Final Boss” for the NA region will be Shroud, Twitch.tv/shroud, and for EU it will be Forsen, Twitch.tv/forsen

What is the Amazon Cup?

Incentives
- Twitch Accessory: All who join and play the ROE Amazon Cup tournament (including all official weekly qualifiers and creator GOTO tournaments) will earn a free Twitch accessory. Every player who joins the tournament will be receive a Twitch branded accessory by the end of S4.
- Twitch Outfit: The top three (3) players from each region (6 winners weekly) who advance to the finals in each of the 5 weeks will receive a Twitch branded outfit by the end of S4. Also, the top 4 players who advance to the finals (8 total winners for both regions) at the end of 5-week qualifier period will also receive the Twitch branded outfit at the end of S4.
- Gaming PC: The top two (2) high-scoring players from all tournament qualifiers (including all official weekly qualifiers and creator GOTO tournaments) will each win a Gaming PC.
- Steam gift cards and Twitch Bits: The player that place 1st on each creator GOTO tournament leaderboard will receive a $100 Steam gift card. The top 10 players on each creator GOTO tournament leaderboard will receive 500 Twitch Bits.
Official Qualifiers
The Amazon Cup will be hosting in game qualifiers weekly which is how players will be able to qualify for the Regional finals. Here is how players are about to sign up for the qualifiers:
- In the bottom left corner of the home screen, there will be a button for the ROE Amazon Cup
- Clicking that button will bring up all of the different events that are currently taking place.
- For the Regional event, you’ll want to select the region that you reside in, NA or EU, and select the join option.
- After joining a submitting icon will show up, meaning that matches played are submitting data for your qualifier.
- Hitting the button again will show joined, which means you are joined for the event but your results are not being submitted

When your status is set to submitting, each first person perspective match of Ashen Eye you play will generate a score and submit it to the qualifier leaderboard. Players are able to play 20 matches, and then their score will be totaled for that weeks qualifier. The three players with the highest score each week will qualify for the regional championship.

Regional Championship

Game On Tournament Qualifiers
- Players can also compete in the Amazon Cup through tournaments set up by various content creators!
- Content creators will set up their own qualifiers which will run for one week
- Players will sign up for these qualifiers in the same way that they sign up for the regional qualifiers
