Patch Notes – Sapphire Edge Supply Box and Bug Fixes (11.21.2019)

Dear Adventurers,

Welcome to the latest official patch notes for Ring of Elysium. Here are the full details:


Weapon Skins
  • Introducing the Weapon Skin Supply Box drop- the Sapphire Edge Supply Box! Open it and you'll have a chance at getting the 20 brand-new skins, including G36 and G28 epic skin- “Sapphire Edge”, and more!

  • Players can visit the "Store - Weapon Skin" interface in the game lobby, select and open the Sapphire Edge Supply Box to obtain one random weapon skin in the supply box’s prize pool
  • (Special thanks to community member CrazyCRO for creating the GIFs above)
  • After selecting the supply box, you can also click “Preview Rewards and Rules” in the upper left corner of the interface to preview the reward pool of the corresponding supply box and its detailed rules
  • The cost of opening each Supply Box is 100 E-points
  • Adventurers cannot receive duplicate rewards from Supply Boxes and will receive tokens for any reward they already own. (Uncommon- 1 Token, Rare- 5 Tokens, Epic- 20 Tokens)
  • Reward probability of the Supply Boxes:
    • Epic quality (purple)- 1.5%
    • Rare quality (blue)- 20%
    • Uncommon quality (green)- 78.5%
  • Added 5 weapon skins to the Token Shop
    • Ookami – Tactical Evolution (new)
    • Mobula – Tactical Evolution (new)
    • Sakura – Tactical Evolution (new)
    • FAMAS – Starlight
    • AK15 - Starlight


Weekly Challenges
  • Added a new set of weekly challenges completed by using the six tactical abilities, these new challenges will be unlocked next Wednesday


Settings
  • Added a new option “Show In-game FPS”


UI
  • Added a small delay for the item details box to show in the inventory, improving the looting experience


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed several incorrect collisions and textures on the map
  • Fixed an issue where the HP bar was displayed incorrectly when spectating a teammate using bandages
  • Fixed an issue where the character position flickered when switching to spectating a teammate using the Glider
  • Fixed an issue where the Snowboard sound effects continued to play incorrectly
  • Fixed an issue where the holographic decoys created by teammates had incorrect backpacks
  • Fixed an issue where the character posture was incorrect after boarding a boat in some cases

Patch Notes – Gameplay Balance Changes and Bug Fixes (11.14.2019)

Welcome to the latest official patch notes for Ring of Elysium. Here are the full details:

Please note: Another small patch has been deployed to fix a client crash and fix an issue related to Drone's enemy markings when using the DX12 client


Adventurer Characters
  • Enabled Ookami – Nightmare, Nightmare Style A, and Nightmare Style B


Gameplay
  • Tactical ability balance changes
    • Drone
      • When using drones, enemies within a certain distance and angle will be marked
      • Friendly drone markings will continuously show
      • Opponent drones are also marked at a certain distance and angle
    • Vehicle Mod Kit
      • Time taken for Modification/Repair has been halved
      • Modification/Repair cooldown has been reduced
      • Slightly increased the HP for all Battlecars and Battleboats
      • Mini-compact car’s invisibility cooldown has been greatly reduced
      • Armored-truck’s machinegun firing accuracy and cooldown recovery speed has been slightly increased
  • Reduced the time taken for reviving knocked-down teammates from 10 seconds to 5 seconds
  • Airdrops and grenades has been set back to default appearance
  • Added an input frequency limit for mouse clicks during spawn selection, clicking extremely fast will no longer provide advantage


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed several incorrect collisions and textures on the map
  • Fixed an issue where the camera shifted incorrectly after stopping a sprint under FPP
  • Fixed an issue where certain loot points were incorrect
  • Fixed an issue where trees at a far distance occasionally disappeared
  • Fixed an issue where third-party gunshot sound effects didn’t play occasionally
  • Fixed an issue where the Medgun revive countdown UI was incorrect in some cases

Gameplay
  • Medgun
    • Greatly increased the usage cooldown
    • Doubled the amount of time to resurrect teammates
    • Decreased the syringe bullet velocity
  • Slightly increased the reloading speed for M82A1


Animation
  • This update brings a comprehensive character animation overhaul, we have optimized various animations to make the character movements look more fluid and smooth
    • Optimized animation for jumping
    • Optimized animation for sprinting
    • Optimized animation for mid-air vaulting
    • Optimized animation for landing after a jump
    • Optimized animation for turning when standing/crouching still
    • Optimized animation for FPP aiming (holding the RMB)
    • Added and optimized various animations under FPP


Adventurer Characters
  • Enabled Sakura – Blood Fox Style A and Style B
  • Enabled Mobula – The Ace, The Ace Style A and Style B


Store
  • Weapon Skin Supply Boxes now supports opening 10 boxes at once (buy 10 and get 1 free!)


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed several incorrect collisions and textures on the map
  • Fixed an issue where Medgun syringes could destroy doors and wooden road blocks
  • Fixed an issue where characters lost HP when stepping on vehicles in some cases
  • Fixed an issue where “INTO THE WILD” skinned LVOA-C missed magazines when the weapon is dropped on the ground
  • Fixed an issue where the start matchmaking button was ineffective
  • Fixed an issue where the lobby-payment UI was incorrect in some cases
  • Fixed an issue where the speedboat Battleboat missed the machinegun icon
  • Fixed an issue where the spawn selection screen had incorrect player icon colors
  • Fixed an issue where certain loot points were incorrect
  • Fixed an issue where certain spawning points were incorrect
