Hello Gliders!

With it being Sable's 1st Anniversary this week, we would love to hear about your memories of playing and adventuring in Midden.

We've heard so many beautiful stories and experiences over the last year that we ask you to recount them to us, either again or anew.

Additionally, we'd love to collect some of them to upload on our website, a collection of memories for you to share with the team.

In other news, gliding straight into our hearts today (and Steam inventory) are some Sable Trading Cards! We can't wait for you to receive them (if you haven't already!).

Cards will appear in your inventory if you've played the game so expect them soon. If you haven't started your adventure, now's your chance to collect the set! Speaking of the complete set, if you wish to collect the rest, they can be acquired through the Steam Community Market or traded with others via the Trading discussion forum here on Steam.

If you craft a complete set of cards, you'll get a Sable badge that you can display on your user profile. During this process, you can receive random rewards, including emoticons & profile backgrounds.

One of the three backgrounds you might unlock. Sable and Simoon are heading straight for your profile. Or maybe just having a little look into what you've been playing recently.

There are five emoticons in total, and as much I love the three you can see here, there's one that's just my absolute favourite. You'll know what it is when you see it, so go ahead and show it off in the comments!

Happy Monday! It’s been a year since Sable was released, and we continue to appreciate your feedback and work on optimization where we can. We’ve heard so many heartwarming stories of your experiences playing our game, and we hope, during this Anniversary Week, that you’ll continue to share them with us.

Let’s dive into our new additions to photo mode 📸; we’ve added new filters and poses to have fun with in Midden. Feel free to share your shots with us; we’d love to see them!

• Poses and filters have been added to photo mode📸 - snapshots can now be even more customized
  

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue that caused Sable to spawn in the wrong place if the player fast travels while on a ladder
  
• Fixed an issue that caused Simoon to malfunction if Sable gets off the bike while in the water
  
• Fixed a bug that caused world asset streaming system to produce bigger stutters than expected when playing on high framerate
  
• Fixed a bug that caused some world assets to be instantiated multiple times
  
• Fixed waterfall sound to correctly stop playing on unload
  
• Fixed water ripple particles
  
• Fixed map markers on new game
  

Optimizations

• Reworked bird animations to reduce their impact on performance
  
• Reduced memory impact of terrain chunks
  
• Faster occlusion culling with less memory usage

Raw Fury and Shedworks have announced the critically acclaimed Sable will be coming to PlayStation 5.

The exploration game with the original Japanese Breakfast soundtrack will be released with additional content as well as PlayStation-exclusive features by the end of this year for PS5.

Sable tells an atmospheric coming-of-age story on an alien planet full of secrets. In it, you take on the role of Sable, who leaves her home to take a beautiful and meditative journey through an engrossing world of ancient monuments, decaying architecture, nomads, and spaceship wrecks.
