Hi everyone!

Midden has so many captivating landscapes that sometimes we wish we could take them all with us. Well, say no more! We have prepared a set of new mobile wallpapers, for both Android and iOS. Just go to the Raw Fury website, choose and download your favorite. Or switch between wallpapers depending on your mood!



And we have more: We loved seeing your photos from our last contest so much that we've decided to run another one! This time, it will be focused on the new fishing update, released last week.

Share in the comments your shots catching fish, visiting the Vivarium and continuing to explore Midden; and we'll enter you into a raffle for a key of a RF game of your choosing.

In a game about someone navigating the competing pressures and existential angst inherent to choosing a career, it seems appropriate that an update would let them sack it all off and go fishing. Sable hasn't quite done that, because yesterday's update sends you hover-biking off after enough fish to earn the right to don the new, professional mask of a desert angler.

Gliders!

Dismount and take a moment, feel the sand crunch beneath your feet and look out into the horizon. You find yourself in Sansee, just outside of Ewer canyon, searching for a fabled angler known as Yoshi. You hope to learn from them in hopes of earning the Angler Mask.

With a new Vivarium to show off your fish and butterfly collection, what are you waiting for? Get catching those 🐟🦋!

• New mini-game - Fishing: Sable can now catch fish in the sands of Midden by using a fishing rod
  
• New location - Angler Hut: An Angler has arrived in Sansee just outside of the Ewer canyon, where Sable’s journey first started
  
• New location - Vivarium: In The Wash you will now find the Vivarium and a Researcher who needs help completing their collection of fish and butterflies
  
• New mask - Angler Mask: If you help the Angler with their tasks, Sable can earn a new mask to wear

• Fixed an issue that stopped camera movement during cutscenes
  
• Fixed an issue that would cause water ripple effects to follow Sable outside of water
  
• Fixed an issue that would cause audio artifacts when triggering multiple sounds simultaneously
  
• Fixed an issue that would cause the game to become unresponsive when changing resolutions on Steam Deck
  
• Adjusted the “Honorary Chum” achievement description to closer match the actual requirement
  
• Fixed some missing textures and floating objects

Open-world hoverbike 'n' climbing game Sable is due to leave PC Game Pass on Sunday, and I only started playing today. I will not finish in time. That's fine. Honestly, I haven't finished half the games I've bought, and I've long since stopped thinking about 'The Backlog' as if I ever will. But I might enjoy this one week of exploring a gorgeous desert, climbing and gliding and hoverbiking, and you might too.

Hello Gliders!

Welcome to our last post for this special Sable 1st anniversary week. We hope you enjoyed our updates, and today we've brought you more to read and get excited about!

[h3]End of Year Update[/h3]
There will be an update to all platforms later this year, including a new feature; fishing!
That's right; we're bringing fishing to Sable! Cast your reed into the dunes and see what weird and wonderful fishies lie beneath the sands.



Not only will you be catching fish, but you'll also show them off in your Vivarium! You can put your insects on display too. Once you've shown your skills in catching fish there may be a new Mask for you to wear. That's right, show off your talent for fishing with the all-new Angler Mask!

This update will also bring Japanese localization to Sable.

[h3]Art book[/h3]
In collaboration with Shedworks comes Sable: Design Works, a 200 page celebration of this landmark adventure's art, architecture, and development. We are very happy to see our friends from Lost in Cult making this happen for Sable!

A couple of months ago, after the photo update for Sable, we asked you to send us your favourite pictures. We saw it all through your lens when travelling across Midden, meeting new people and new places.

Before we go, we also want to mention the wonderful stories we've received from you all regarding your memories of playing Sable. It's truly been a joy to read them, and we hope to feature some on our website next week.
