Update 01 : Invite friends to Table, Casino Slot and Daily Streak

Hi Everyone,
As per popular demand, in this update we have added an option to invite your friends to table as well as some other in-game features. We believe this will further enhance your Downtown Casino poker experience.

Casino Slots

Spend a slot Chip and try to get a combination and test your luck (Get 5 free slot chips daily). You can access the slots by clicking on slots button as shown in the image below.

Daily Streak

We believe that our players need some extra chips as they spend quite a lot challenging and trying their best against other poker sharks.
So we introduced Daily Streak which will gift you chips (per 24 hours)depending upon your on-going streak. That is, the reward increases as you play consecutive days which we call a growing streak.
The steak is broken when a days streak reward is not collected by the player and it will be rested to day -1. So again you have to build up the streak.

Whenever you play Downtown Casino, you will be greeted with the Daily Streak UI as given below.

When you claim the reward, it will show your streak and how much you earned as a gift.

In-game Invite

Invite your friends from steam to a table that you are playing in to have fun together. Also, make buddies and earn referral bonuses and much more as you build your poker buddies list and invite others

How do I invite my friends?

You can invite any player from your steam friends list to the table. The only condition is that you must be playing or spectating a table to invite others. When you are at a table, you will now see an icon as shown below :

Click on this icon and it will open up an in-game overlay with the list of your friends in steam. Also, the overlay will specify to which table you are inviting your friends to.
The overlay will be as shown below :

Now select the friends you wish to invite by clicking on their profile, or you could click on send all to send the invite to all your friends in Steam. Once selected and the send button is pressed and if it succeeds, a popup will come up mentioning the names of the friends you have invited to the table. Just like as shown in the image below :

Only the first 50 friends from a players steam friends list are shown due to limit a limit in the in-game mechanics. If your friend's name is not listed, use the search box and type his/her name and as you type the game will auto-fetch those particular player/players.

So that's pretty much how you can invite your friends to the table.

How will I know If I got an Invite?

Whenever a player invites you to the game you are notified in two ways. They are as given below :
- Table Invite Popup
  
  The moment a player invites you to the table, this popup slides in to notify you who invited you (name and player avatar are shown), the invited table name and the blinds of that respective table.
  It would be as shown below :
  
  Click on the VISIT TABLE button to join the respective table that particular player is playing.
- Notification
  
  All the invites you received are sorted out and shown in the notification overlay. You can access it by clicking on the bell icon in the game. Please check the image given below.
  
  Once you click the notification button, an overlay slides in showing you the details of your in-game activity.
  
  Click on Go button to join the table immediately.
What happens once I accept an Invite?

Accepting an invite can be related to the player responding positively to an invitation or invite notification.

Once a player accepts an invite, He/she will join that particular table as a spectator and will be able to see the game happening there. If he/she wishes to play in that table, click on JOIN button and a seat will be granted provided the table is not full.

Also, the invitee and the player who sent the invite will be added as buddies in the Downtown casino and can earn a referral bonus(if a player is playing for the first time).

Players won't be able to join a table if:-
- Table is full
- Player level is too low for the table
- Not enough cash to join the table

What if I am not playing the game and someone invites?

In such scenarios, the invitee gets a Steam invite as shown below:-

Once you click on the steam invite, you will get another popup stating Downtown Casino is attempting to launch with optional parameters, as shown below :

Click on "OK" and the game will launch. After loading, you will get an invite popup as well as the notification which you can respond to join your friend's table. Also, if the invitee is new to the game, you will get a referral bonus and invitee will be added to your buddy list automatically.

Note
- You will still get steam game invites even if you are in-game. These invites won't have any functionality other than just alerting you to the presence of incoming notification.
- The launch parameters of Downtown Casino are completely safe. It is used to guide the game client to the respective table the invitee sends an invite for.
