Invasion Day is This Weekend

Season 29 is well underway, and the excitement continues with the midseason Invasion Day this weekend! As we prepare for the drama, here’s how things stand at the halfway point of the season:
  • Albion Europe: Wars, coalitions, evictions, and alliances battling against the odds – Season 29 on Albion Europe has had it all... and we're only halfway through! The GIRTH coalition holds the top 3 spots, but it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows. Skoggangr, who was part of the coalition at the start of the season, broke away after disagreements with Heralds of Valhalla. This led to raids early on in the season, and we'll be keeping a very close eye on Skoggangr throughout the final 30 days. As they sit in Rank 4, only 40,000 points behind Utopia and Heralds of Valhalla, we might be looking at an attempt to deny Heralds of Valhalla second place. Stay tuned…

On other timers, the war between the SOAP and GIRTH alliances has raged all season long. With SOAP heavily outnumbered, they held on for as long as they could, until the sheer weight of numbers forced them to pull out. With Skype leaving SOAP and heading north, this has left Crumbs and Clean Kill to fend for themselves. Can they hold onto their homelands? Will this lead to a full eviction? Time will tell.

  • Albion Asia: All Rise is rising to the occasion once again, and is on pace to obtain its second season victory after their triumph in Season 27. Fuckcall’s empire still holds strong, but with rumours swirling that he's stepping away from the game, will his empire hold or will it fall once again? We've seen splinters emerge over the last week with guilds breaking away and looking to push out on their own, so time will tell how things shape up.

  • Albion Americas: Make Albion Great Again is pushing for its first ever season victory. At 2,777 days and counting, it’s been a long time coming for this guild, who have been at the forefront of chaos and disruption in the Outlands for many years. And with Rogue Natives in second place, 230,000 Season Points behind, it looks like there won't be much competition in this race.

Creator Spotlight: Pato Albion

Creator Spotlight is a series where we shine a light on Albion Online’s dedicated Content Creators by sharing their stories, unique perspectives, and favorite moments. Get to know them and, if you’re intrigued, follow their channels for more!
Pato Albion
What is the main content you create on Twitch/YouTube?

I help new players develop in Albion. My focus is showing how to make Silver, gain Fame, and create builds to play.

How and when did you get into creating Albion Online content?

I started at the end of 2024. At that time, I searched through a lot of content to guide me and couldn’t find what I was looking for, so I decided to become for someone else what I didn’t have for myself.

Do you have a favorite video of yours that you think everyone should have seen? Let us know why it's special!

I have a special affection for this video, in which I help players get started in Albion. I know the beginning can be quite challenging, so this video has helped many people, and continues to do so today!

Do you have any new content in the making that you would like to tease?

I’d like to promote my Twitch streams. I create various types of game content there, especially around new updates, to help spread the word even more.

What advice would you give other players who are considering becoming Albion Online content creators?

I’d like everyone to remember that the beginning is the hardest part. If you want to create content, think of it the same way you do Albion: learn, adapt, evolve and, little by little, things will start to fall into place.

Visual Preview: Faction Camps

Over here at Sandbox Interactive HQ the team is hard at work on Albion’s next major content update, on which we’ll be bringing you more details soon. But to whet your appetites, we thought we’d give you a glimpse at the visual development of some of these features, starting with Faction Camps.

Faction Camps are new Faction Warfare objectives, which players can contest to unlock rewards. Art Director Stefan Warias had this to say about them:

Faction Camps are locations that factions used to store their supplies and station troops, but which have now been overrun in battle and left to opportunistic bandits. Smoke obscures and stains everything, palisades smoulder, structures are battered and destroyed, and dark figures roam, capitalizing on the faction battles taking place nearby and looting everything that isn't nailed down.

These images illustrate this visual narrative, with beaten and singed tents and banners where factions once stood firm offering players an enticing objective. They may have been ransacked, but there are still valuable rewards to be found there…

Stay tuned to learn more about this feature, and for more visual previews!

Watch a Dev Playalong with Quokii

The AlbionTV (twitch.tv/albiononline) crew recently welcomed Game Designer Quokii into the booth for a live playalong as part of the Albion Unlocked initiative, where they chatted about his background as a developer, his thoughts on different features in Albion, and even revealed some hints about what’s on the way next.

Creator Spotlight: JBS GLOVE

Creator Spotlight is a series where we shine a light on Albion Online’s dedicated Content Creators by sharing their stories, unique perspectives, and favorite moments. Get to know them and, if you’re intrigued, follow their channels for more!
JBS GLOVE
How and when did you get into creating Albion Online content?

I first got into content creation when I was playing Hellgates with a friend. At first, I just wanted to make funny videos, but over time, I started experimenting with cinematic, mad-movie-style editing to give my clips a more intense and dramatic feel.

Do you have a favorite video of yours that you think everyone should have seen? Let us know why it's special!

This video intentionally exaggerates inventory weight to make my character appear slow and heavy, baiting top players and pros into chasing me. It’s been praised for being very clever, and I think it can definitely inspire others. I highly recommend checking it out!

Do you have any new content in the making that you would like to tease?

I enjoy creating stories where I use off-meta gear to completely crush the current popular meta. As a teaser, my next video will feature a build with a Robe paired with an impressive Sword…

What advice would you give other players who are considering becoming Albion Online content creators?

At first, I uploaded videos just to keep a record of my fights without much thought. But when they started gaining attention, I became more motivated, and since then I’ve continued creating content. If you genuinely enjoy playing Albion, go ahead and give it a try anytime. That’s how I started, and it’s what keeps me going.
