Ambassador Spotlight: ChipzClegane

AlbionTV continues the interview series introducing the Realm Divided AOCP Ambassadors. ChipzClegane is known for his deep involvement in ZvZ warfare and analytical breakdowns of Albion’s most complex systems. Join us on twitch.tv/albiononline this Friday, January 16 at 20:00 UTC for a live interview, and get to know one of the leading voices breaking down Albion’s politics.

[h3]ChipzClegane[/h3]At his core, ChipzClegane is a strategist. His content revolves around large-scale ZvZ battles, alliance dynamics, and the decisions that shape Albion’s political landscape. Wars for control of the Outlands are what drive him, along with the long-term consequences that follow victory or defeat. With multiple war wins and top placements to his name, Chipz approaches competition with a leader’s perspective, always looking beyond individual fights to the wider state of the game.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
That focus on understanding why things happen defines his content. Chipz is known for slowing the game down and breaking it apart piece by piece. Some days, that means walking viewers through spreadsheets to explain optimal brawl compositions. Others, it’s detailed VOD reviews, or careful analysis of statements made by guild leaders, unpacking what a lost war or a disbanded alliance really means for the Guild Season. His streams aren’t just about watching battles unfold, but about learning how they’re won, lost, and remembered.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Beyond analysis, Chipz is also a dedicated community organizer. He’s the creator behind ChampionChipz, a competitive community tournament that quickly gained recognition. The event brought players together in a structured, high-level environment and showcased his commitment to fostering organized competition. Its success left many in the community eager for its return, stronger and more ambitious than before.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
As an Ambassador, Chipz brings all of this together. He sees the role as being a steady point of reference for the Portuguese-speaking community: someone who helps players navigate change, understand evolving systems, and make sense of the game’s most demanding content. As Albion evolves, Chipz focuses on breaking information down, sharing verified details, and helping players understand what’s happening and why. To him, being an Ambassador means being present, reliable, and worthy of trust.

MMORPG.com Names Albion Online Best Indie MMO of 2025!

Another incredible year has come to a close, and what a way to end it! We’re incredibly proud to share that Albion Online has been named Best Indie MMO of 2025 by MMORPG.com, marking the third year in a row the game has received this award.

In announcing the accolade, MMORPG.com highlighted one of the core pillars behind Albion Online’s long-term success: continuous evolution driven by player feedback. As their resident Albion expert, Nick Shively, puts it:
One of the great things about Albion is how the team really listens to the players and tries to incorporate the areas that are lacking into their large quarterly updates. This allows the game to slowly evolve over time instead of waiting on a new expansion every two to three years. Regardless of how you play, eventually one of these updates will affect how you like to play and bring about new rewards.

That philosophy shaped a busy and transformative year for the game. Across multiple major updates, the sandbox continued to grow and adapt. The Realm Divided update delivered sweeping changes to Faction Warfare, while Abyssal Depths and Rogue Frontier focused on helping players find their footing and explore the systems the game has to offer. Albion Online’s third consecutive Best Indie MMO award is a powerful vote of confidence in both the game and the team behind it.

A huge thank you goes to the staff at MMORPG.com for their continued recognition, and to you, our community. Your passion, feedback, and commitment allow Albion Online to keep improving year after year. We remain firm in our promise to continuously evolve, and we can't wait to share our plans for this year with you very soon!

Ambassador Spotlight: Meletriss

AlbionTV is back with an interview series introducing the newly appointed Realm Divided AOCP Ambassadors, and we’re starting with a familiar voice. Meletriss has been a staple of AlbionTV for a long time, and now she’s stepping into the spotlight herself. Join us on twitch.tv/albiononline this Friday, January 9 at 20:00 UTC for a live interview and a closer look at the person behind the mic.

[h3]Meletriss[/h3]Meletriss’ journey in Albion is closely tied to AlbionTV itself. If you’ve spent any time watching the channel, chances are you’ve already heard her voice. From hosting Best of AlbionTV to kicking back on AOTV Unwind, she’s become a familiar and reassuring presence for viewers. Streaming and creating content for AlbionTV was a constant during her college years, shaping her bond with both the game and its community. Now, as she prepares to graduate in real life, becoming an Ambassador feels like the natural next step. Albion has been there through it all, and this is her way of giving something back.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Melly is an avid solo PvP player who spends most of her time deep in the Outlands, deliberately choosing Albion’s most dangerous spaces. Roaming alone with an axe or sword, mounted on her trusty panther, Steve, she thrives in full-loot PvP, where every fight carries weight. She’s always leaning into the risk rather than walking away from it.
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
That attitude defines her streams. Loss isn’t something to fear, but part of the experience. Gear can be replaced; knowledge sticks. And that’s the lesson she hopes to share. One of her most memorable traditions involves viewer-led zero-to-hero Outlands roams, where anyone can join, regardless of experience. The goal is never profit, but shared adventure: stepping into danger together and seeing what makes it back. And sometimes that lesson comes at the cost of a very avoidable death. Melly is famously the kind of player who might step away in the middle of the Outlands to grab a tempting slice of pizza, only to return to a death recap. But that doesn’t faze her. Dying is just another chance to learn and go again.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
As an Ambassador, Meletriss wants to help more players feel comfortable doing the same. As a familiar face, sharing both her wins and her losses, and keeping the energy positive, she hopes to show that confidence in Albion comes from throwing fear out of the window. “Ultimately,” she says, “my goal is to make players feel empowered to take risks and understand that defeat is just a stepping stone to mastery.”

If you’re looking for high-stakes PvP, honest gameplay, and a stream where danger is part of the fun, catch Meletriss live and see why the Outlands keep calling her back. Tune in Friday, January 9 at 20:00 UTC for the live interview and a chance to ride away with one of two Armored Ponies she’ll be giving away.

Brave the Cold in the Frost Challenge

Winter tightens its grip on Albion, blanketing the land in snow and forcing many to stand still. But survival favors those who keep moving! The Frost Challenge calls on adventurers to brave the cold, shoulder heavy burdens, and push onward while the world sleeps. Earn enough Challenge Points, and the Frost Ram will lead the way. This is a swift, steadfast mount built to carry what others cannot, keeping Albion’s trade routes alive through the harshest season.

SEASONAL SPECIALS: All month, unlock Frost Challenge chests to get valuable rewards like Adventurer's Tomes and Silver bags, along with furniture items like the Snowman and Snowball Pile, classic ice sculptures, the epic Frost Igloo, and a rare chance for the Rich Noble vanity skins.
