The Hunter Challenge Returns

Let the hunt begin! For all of April, take the Hunter Challenge: earn points for open-world activities, unlock chests to get valuable loot, and claim your very own Black Panther mount.

BLACK PANTHER: This month's Challenge sees the return of the mighty Black Panther, a sleek feline mount with a fearsome appearance. It boasts a powerful speed boost spell that can propel its rider across large distances – helping both hunters and hunted alike.

AVATAR RING: Reach your goals to unlock the Hunter Challenge avatar ring to give your favorite avatar a hunting-themed border. This non-tradable item permanently unlocks this avatar border for one character, or can be traded for one Adventurer's Token at the Vanity Merchant.

SEASONAL SPECIALS: All month, reach weekly goals to unlock Hunter Challenge chests. In addition to valuable rewards like Adventurer's Tomes, Silver bags, and rare resources, this month's chests contain various hunting-themed statues and furniture items.

As always, you can earn Challenge Points by gathering, fishing, farming, and killing monsters. Points count simultaneously toward a daily bonus, a weekly unlockable chest, and the monthly mount. So log in, head out into the open world, gather points, and claim your rewards!

The “Foundations” Update Launches April 15

As the current Guild Season reaches its climax, it’s already time to get ready for Albion’s next major content update. On April 15, Foundations will launch, bringing with it a host of new developments and improvements. Fortifications are upgradable defensive features for territories, and Siege Banners offer possibilities for attackers and defenders alike. Territory Activity Chests offer enticing rewards for territory owners - as well as their rivals. New Crystal Weapons are coming, with a range of powerful spells. And a Spectator Mode allows Albion’s creators to broadcast Arena battles and tournaments. With all this and more, Foundations opens the gates to new forms of warfare in Albion.
Raise the Banner
Fortifications offer formidable defensive structures for guilds of all sizes, and will bring forth new tactics and strategies in territorial combat. These structures, and their guards, can be further upgraded by guilds who invest the time and resources, becoming mighty barriers against those who seek to raid and conquer. In addition, Siege Banners complement this, adding a new twist to territory fights by providing opportunities for attacking and defending guilds alike.
Territories Transformed
Territory Activity Chests encourage constant activity around territories - but the more value they accrue, the more enticing they become to potential attackers. Territories in the Outlands also now have new layouts. Meanwhile, Prime Times have been adjusted across the different servers, to provide more consistent action for each region.
Let Battle Commence
New Crystal Weapons are coming, offering an array of powerful and prestigious prizes to top season performers. Hammers are getting fresh and formidable new spells too, shaking up the combat meta. And a new Spectator Mode gives creators the freedom to set up and broadcast their own Arena battles, opening the door to exciting, player-run tournaments.

With all this, Foundations lays the groundwork for some exciting new developments to warfare in Albion. For more details, check out the official update page:

The Rites of Spring is Back with a Massive Fame Boost!

The Rites of Spring are back in Albion, and this year they’re accompanied by an unprecedented 35% Fame boost!

For a full two weeks, you can enjoy this huge increase on Fame earned through your ingame activities:
 • This buff automatically grants an additional 35% Fame for all non-PvP activities
 • The buff does not apply to Fame earned via PvP kills and Tomes of Insight, and does not boost the rate at which Challenge Points are earned

The dates for this year's Rites of Spring are as follows:
 • Albion Asia (formerly Albion East): March 19 to April 2 (begins and ends with maintenance)
 • Albion Americas (formerly Albion West): March 20 to April 3 (begins and ends with maintenance)

And, of course, there’s a whole array of seasonal rewards for you to earn during this time, including the return of the Spring Cottontail and Caerleon Cottontail mounts. Read on to learn more…
Spring’s Bounty
Across the open world, all treasure chests will be sprouting up at a much increased rate for the duration of this event. And in addition, special Spring Treasure Chests will be appearing, containing a host of valuable items and, if you’re lucky, Spring Cottontail Eggs and Eerie Cottontail Eggs.

These Eggs can be raised into the Spring Cottontail and Caerleon Cottontail mounts, respectively. These Tier 8 mounts are notoriously difficult to catch - both in their rarity and their speed - and are simply some of the cutest mounts you’ll ever see. Each come with a unique Hop ability, while the Caerleon Cottontail also has the terrifying Rabbit Frenzy ability. You really don’t want to be on the wrong end of that, trust me.
…And There’s More
On top of all these rewards, Colored Eggs are popping up across Albion again, containing chocolate, Surprise Eggs, and, very occasionally, Cottontail Eggs. Yes, that’s a lot of eggs. And it’s a busy time for Albion’s vanity merchants, who are sure to do a roaring trade in Eggsecutioner vanity weapons, “Bunny Stalker” Wardrobe items, Chocolate Bars, and more.

Phew, that’s a lot of goodies up for grabs this year. Think we need a lie down before the frenzy starts. Oh no, what are those bunny ears coming this way…
