Spring is back, and the Keepers of Albion are beginning to awaken... and for the entire month of March, you can take the Keeper Challenge to collect fantastic rewards! Earn points for open-world activities, unlock chests to get valuable loot, and claim your very own Grizzly Bear mount.
[h3]Timeless Treasures are Yours to Claim[/h3]
GRIZZLY BEAR: This month’s Challenge brings back the popular Grizzly Bear, a huge, intimidating mount with an arsenal of powerful spells. In addition to its Intimidating Aura toggle spell, it also gains a temporary speed boost when attacked, giving its rider an edge when enemies are in pursuit.


AVATAR RING: Reach your goals to unlock the Keeper Challenge avatar ring, which gives your chosen avatar the stone-and-leather look of Albion’s true guardians. This non-tradable item permanently unlocks this avatar border for one character, or can be traded for one Adventurer’s Token at the Vanity Merchant.


SEASONAL SPECIALS: All month, reach weekly goals to unlock Keeper Challenge chests. In addition to valuable rewards like Adventurer’s Tomes, Silver bags, and rare resources, this month’s chests contain various Keeper-themed furniture and capes.



As always, you can earn Challenge Points by gathering, fishing, farming, and killing monsters. Points count simultaneously toward a daily bonus, a weekly unlockable chest, and the monthly mount. So log in, head out into the open world, gather points, and claim your rewards!

Crystal Raiders kicked off 2024 with a bang for Albion Online, bringing Territory Raiding, a reworked Conqueror’s Challenge, and the opportunity to compete for Crystal Weapons. But it also marked the start of Albion’s new update schedule, and it’s already time to introduce the next major update: Foundations. Game Director Robin Henkys sat down to share some insights into what’s in the pipeline.

Crystal Raiders has seen the Outlands become more active among a more diverse range of guilds, thanks to the new mechanics it brought to Guild Seasons. At the same time, Territory Raiding can be difficult to defend against, particularly for smaller guilds.

With this in mind, the Foundations update will introduce a new territory feature: Fortifications.

• Guilds can build and improve fortified walls and gates in territories to hold attackers at bay
• Higher tiers of Fortifications will be harder to break down, allowing more time for the defenders to rally their forces
• Territory Guards will also be reworked, and will be able to be upgraded to unlock new abilities

Fortifications stand to benefit the game in a variety of ways:

• As upgrading Fortifications will require stone, this will catalyze Albion’s stone economy
• Defenders will have to make strategic choices when upgrading Fortifications
  • It won’t be possible to upgrade an entire Fortification in one go
  • Defenses will reset after a successful invasion, and at the end of a Guild Season
• These choices will then guide attackers’ tactics, and bring greater variety to territory battles and raids
• This system will be further expanded in the future with more choices for both attackers and defenders

[h3]Daily Reward Chests[/h3]
To add a further incentive for guilds to strengthen their territory defenses, their value will be increased:

• Territories will give Daily Reward Chests
  • The contents of these chests increases based on player activity in the territory and surrounding regions
• This will encourage guilds to be active in and around their territories
• It will also discourage guilds from attacking players doing PvE activities near their territories
  • Guilds may even look to protect such players from potential attackers

[h3]Further Additions and Improvements[/h3]
The Foundations update will of course include additional features, for example:

• The next batch of Crystal Weapons
• A much-anticipated Spectator Mode which will allow players to watch Custom Matches
  • This will open the door to community-organized tournaments

Raiding and Fortifications will receive ongoing refinements and additions beyond this update, and new Crystal Weapons will of course continue to be developed. But beyond that, we will look to improve existing game features in a forthcoming update, and we welcome your suggestions and feedback!

We’re excited to announce that in the coming weeks Albion Online will be launched in two new languages: Turkish and Arabic! Players will be able to log in and play the game entirely in these two languages with both existing and new characters, on each server, and will also have access to language-specific in-game chat channels and dedicated subforums. The game will also feature right-to-left support when playing in Arabic.

Albion Online has long had passionate and dedicated Turkish and Arabic-speaking communities, and we couldn’t be happier to offer an improved gaming experience for these players. At the same time, we hope to see these communities grow further, making Albion an even richer and more vibrant gameworld for everyone!

Introducing Turkish and Arabic will be an ongoing process, particularly given the challenges of introducing a right-to-left display, and we will continue to optimize them after release. Our website will be available in these languages soon, with important news and information translated to keep you up-to-date. The first Guild Season since the Crystal Raiders update is in full swing, and players have been raiding territories, stealing Raw Energy, and working to earn Crystal Weapon artifacts. The first Invasion Day since the start of the season is this weekend, when territories will reset and guilds engage in fierce fights to claim ownership. And we’ll be broadcasting the action for you live on AlbionTV!

At 13:50 UTC on Saturday 10 February you can join hosts Robinhoodrs, Shozen, and Bogul for coverage of the final round of the day’s invasions on Albion East. Then, at 17:50 UTC, Shozen, Lewpac, and Bogul will bring you coverage of the first round of territory resets on Albion West. Finally, at 00:50 UTC on Sunday 11 February, Robinhoodrs, Shozen and Tazzik will present the second round of territory resets on Albion West. Tune in to catch the excitement!

A new Referral Season is here, and from now until February 29, you can claim the Jousting Horse with a single referral!

This mount skin transforms your Riding Horse base mount into a strong and regal steed, decked out in ceremonial livery. It comes in guild versions, too, letting you show off your current guild logo and colors as you ride into battle. And once unlocked, it can be used by any of your characters on that server.
