Behind the Banner: G2U

Behind the Banner is a series that shines a light on Albion's many diverse guilds, from fierce PvP warbands to tight-knit social communities. Each episode delves into the identity, playstyle, and goals of a different guild, offering a glimpse into what life is really like behind the banner.

  • Guild Name: G2U
  • Alliance: UA
  • Guild Leader: ZHROLYK
  • Date Founded: June 2022
  • Size: ~290 members
  • Primary Language: Ukrainian
  • Server: Albion Europe
  • Discord: discord.gg/fSRs9vfzE5
Tell us about your guild.

I created the guild to play with a purpose: we study, improve, and promote the Ukrainian language. Today, we are a community of like-minded people and a piece of homeland for many Ukrainians who had to leave their country.

What sort of activities do you focus on?

We engage in all types of activities. Freedom is the highest value for Ukrainians, so everyone in our community has the right to play whatever content they want. This is the secret of our success and longevity.

What sort of members are you looking for?

We only accept Ukrainians. If you are Ukrainian and looking for a Ukrainian community, you won’t find a better guild than ours. That’s a fact!

Where is your guild primarily located?

Throughout our guild's long history, it is difficult to find a territory where we have not lived. Many argue about which territory is better, but there’s one thing I know for sure: it is not where you are that matters, but who you are with. For me, home is where my friends are.

Do you have any rivalries or ongoing quarrels with other guilds?

We have no enemies. We are a very friendly guild, and if someone wants to quarrel with us, it only proves they’re a fool in real life.

What are some of your most memorable battles or activities?

We have many stories, but one stands out. While preparing to build a Hideout, a real-life missile attack began on my city. Imagine: no electricity, everything burning, explosions, air defense firing, sirens howling… and I’m standing in the middle of the street holding my phone above my head to get a signal, all because my guild is waiting for me. If the police had seen me, I would have been in serious trouble, since it’s forbidden to film air defense during wartime. And who would have believed I was stupid enough to risk myself just for a computer game? Luckily everything ended well, both for me and for our Hideout.

What does your guild do for fun?

In those brief moments of peace, we gather around the chest in our Hideout and share the loot. It’s always a lot of fun.

What is your guild's approach to the game? Do you have any core values or beliefs that guide how you play together?

Our approach is very simple: have fun, and don’t prevent other players from having fun.

What are your goals for the future?

Our goal is to play Albion, and whatever happens, happens. It’s the best game in the world. We are very grateful for it!

Anything else to share about your guild?

We are proud to be the first Ukrainian guild to achieve Gold and Crystal ranks. At the same time, most of our players constantly experience problems with electricity and the internet due to the war. If other guilds played in the same conditions as we do, they would not achieve even half of our success.

Creator Spotlight: Gemminys

Creator Spotlight is a series where we shine a light on Albion Online’s dedicated Content Creators by sharing their stories, unique perspectives, and favorite moments. Get to know them and, if you’re intrigued, follow their channels for more!

[h3]Gemminys[/h3]What is the main content you create on Twitch/YouTube?

My Twitch channel is like a reality show about the life of an Albion Online player. Right now, 95% of my content is live. I always strive to make sure viewers can see, hear, and truly experience the reality of my daily adventures in Albion.

My favorite content takes place on the Roads of Avalon, focusing on both PvP and PvE, whether solo or with groups. I’m a friendly player, though I prefer to avoid confrontational people. My community is completely open, and we always chat and share on Discord.

How and when did you get into creating Albion Online content?

I started creating Albion content around November 2024 because my friend Shyraomi kept encouraging me to give it a try. At first, I wasn’t sure and began without any expectations. But soon, I realized how much I loved streaming, and it became a real passion for me.

Do you have a favorite video of yours that you think everyone should have seen? Let us know why it's special!

The Attack of the Rats is a special video for me, since it shows the kind of strange events that often happen to me on the Roads of Avalon, haha. It was very exciting because I encountered a couple of legendary characters from the Roads: The Rats. I had also been a fan of TanyaWC for a long time, so that made the moment even more memorable:

Do you have any new content in the making that you would like to tease?

I am currently preparing a Roads guide to help newer players while also offering advanced advice for more experienced ones, all based on my own time there. I believe I know many things that most Road players don’t, especially when it comes to the PvP mentality needed to prevail there.

What advice would you give other players who are considering becoming Albion Online content creators?

I would encourage them to start as soon as possible, to be themselves, and to enjoy the journey. When I began, I knew nothing about streaming, but I learned a lot along the way.

And remember: Albion Online is a vast game, with countless ways to play. You can be a warrior, a merchant, a collector, and so much more. Every area of the game offers magnificent and exciting experiences. ;)

Ambassador Spotlight: Ninuschk

Continuing our series introducing the Abyssal Depths AOCP Ambassadors, AlbionTV welcomes Ninuschk to the spotlight! Tune in to twitch.tv/albiononline this Friday, September 19 at 20:00 UTC to meet the healer who proves that saving lives can be just as chaotic and entertaining as taking them.

[h3]Ninuschk[/h3]This week’s spotlight shines on Ninuschk, a techno DJ turned healer main who brings expert support play and good energy to the battlefield. Based in Germany and streaming in English, German, and Russian, her content is as unique as it is helpful. Each Youtube video kicks off with a pup dancing to hardcore techno, a chaotic intro that contrasts delightfully with her calm, thoughtful breakdowns of healing strategy.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
A proud healer through and through, Nina has built a full guide series around mastering this often-overlooked and underestimated role. From leveling solo to supporting in full ZvZs, she covers all your healing concerns with clarity and precision. If you ever thought that healing was “just pressing a button,” she’ll kindly show you what actually goes into keeping a reckless DPS alive in a fight they probably weren’t prepared for.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
On stream, Nina keeps things focused and chill. Whether she’s duoing in the Depths or supporting a full group, she carries the same steady presence, even when everything else is on fire. And in a world where healers only get noticed when something goes wrong, she proves that staying calm and keeping your team alive under pressure is an art form all of its own.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Now, as an AOCP Ambassador, she’s raising the banner for support players everywhere. If you’ve ever wanted to try healing yourself, or just want to be a better ally to your resident healer, Ninuschk’s here to help. Tune in to AlbionTV this Friday to see her live, learn from the best, and win a vanity bundle of her choosing.
