Behind the Banner: Martlock

Our Faction Warfare journey has led us through Fort Sterling, Lymhurst, Bridgewatch, and Thetford. Now, we climb into the rugged highlands. Among rolling green hills and towering stone quarries, Martlock’s blue banner stands firm. Often outnumbered, its fighters return to the field again and again, holding their ground against the odds. Here, dedicated Discord communities rally those willing to defend the blue and prove that numbers alone don’t win wars.

How long has your Discord been active?

Our server has been active since October 2025. I started it alongside a few of my guildmates to organize Faction Warfare activities.

What does your community have to offer?

Our community provides Faction Warfare content, bringing together players who actively participate in both yellow and red zone activities. Its primary objective is to deliver consistent and organized content for Martlock members. Although participation is sometimes decentralized, the community remains committed to supporting all Martlock players by maintaining accessible and inclusive Faction activities.

Why did you choose Martlock?

It all began when the Katana guild recruited me in Fort Sterling and brought me to Martlock. When I first saw how dire their situation was, I decided to step up and lead temporarily, helping to keep order and build a bond within the Faction. As more people joined Martlock, my guildmates and I created MLO to practice teamwork and strategy. I’ve always believed in Martlock’s strength, which is why I continue to choose it.

Do you offer yellow or red zone Faction Warfare content?

Our community offers Faction Warfare content in both the yellow and red zones. While it was initially established to focus on yellow zone content, it later expanded into red zone activities. This ensures that Martlock players can engage in Faction Warfare regardless of their preferred zone.

Do you have a message for the other Factions out there?

Although Martlock may appear disadvantaged on the Faction map due to lower population numbers, its true strength lies in the dedication of its players. With effective leadership, whether from guilds or community-driven initiatives, we have the potential to organize efficiently and compete at a level comparable to any other Faction.

And with that, we conclude the Faction Warfare edition of Behind the Banner, shining the spotlight on some of the Discord communities coordinating forces across the Royal Continent. Now it’s your turn to choose your banner, find your allies, and step onto the battlefield!

Ambassador Spotlight: PatoAlbion

We are continuing our series of spotlights introducing our Realm Divided AOCP Ambassadors. This week, we would like to take a moment to properly introduce a creator whose impact extends well beyond gameplay clips and battle highlights: PatoAlbion. Read along and get to know your new favorite duck companion!

[h3]PatoAlbion[/h3]PatoAlbion is a special kind of creator. For him, being an Ambassador is not about recognition, but responsibility. He sees the role as a commitment to represent his community and Brazil with integrity, and to use the trust placed in him to do something meaningful. From the beginning, his philosophy has been simple: “be for someone what I didn’t have for myself”, and that idea has shaped everything he creates.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
His content has always centered around helping others grow. On YouTube and in his livestreams, he focuses on practical guidance: how to earn Silver, how to gain Fame, how to step into the Outlands, how to start in ZvZ, and how to improve in PvP. But beyond mechanics, what he really values are connections. He teaches not just how to fight, but how to find your place in a guild and turn Albion into something you can share with people you truly care about.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
This approach has allowed Pato to create a very close-knit community. He speaks openly about his own mistakes, weaknesses, and failures, building trust based on honesty and transparency. Over time, his streams have become more than gameplay sessions. They’re a space where people can show up and feel heard without fear of judgment. One of the moments that marked him most as a creator came when a viewer shared how much the stream had helped them through a deeply difficult period in their life. For Pato, that is the measure of success.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
As an Ambassador, he wants to expand that impact. Fluent in multiple languages, he works to connect players across regions and cultures, proudly representing Brazil on a global stage. He focuses on teaching content creation, mentoring new streamers, and guiding players through Albion’s more complex systems. By preparing the next generation, he hopes to leave something positive behind far beyond his time as an Ambassador. His goal is not simply to grow an audience, but to be remembered as someone who contributed, listened, and helped.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
If you’re looking for more than just gameplay, PatoAlbion’s channel offers something steady and sincere. You’ll find practical guidance, honest conversations, and a creator who is not afraid to speak openly about life. So, if you want to understand who PatoAlbion is, the best way is to spend a morning in the company of his community. This week, take a look at his content for a chance to win the Arcanist vanity bundle, and if you happen to hear a quack along the way, you’ll know you’re in the right place!

The Mid-Season Invasion Day Approaches

Season 31 is entering dangerous territory. Rivalries have reignited, old grudges are resurfacing, and a new mid-season Energy Storage payout is about to test a faster, more explosive season format. This Invasion Day will show how that new pacing plays out under pressure.

Here’s where things stand as the mid-season reset draws near:
  • Albion Europe: A massive war broke out in Albion Europe. With two season victories already secured, the STORM alliance entered Season 31 aiming for a third. The same guilds continue their long-running war under shifting alliance tags, and this time Skoggangr stepped up to push for first place, now fighting alongside Contingent after their dramatic mid-war flip in Season 30. But STORM looked vulnerable. Take Care stepped back, Contingent downsized, and Kingtrixel united Woof Woof with EQMS, Clean Kill, Sevran, Scourge of GOD and others under the 93 Alliance banner. They stormed the inner ring early, outnumbering STORM and forcing brutal fights that lasted several timers.
Territories fell. Hideouts were raided. Skoggangr lost a level 3 Hideout in Razorrock Valley and nearly another in Sunfang Cliffs. Then came the turning point. On the final shield, STORM held. Over the next days they stabilized, regained 20 UTC territories, destroyed a Woof Woof Hideout, and began to snowball wins. With Sevran folding last week, the war officially ended. Across all sides, nearly 35,000 players died. With an average ZvZ set worth 3 million Silver, that’s roughly 105 billion Silver in lost gear. And we’re not even halfway through the season!
  • Albion Americas: With ‘King’ Daliuess returning to lead IFures once more, the server has entered a calmer phase after Season 30’s chaos. Although we’ve seen pockets of action here and there in the inner ring, IFures now stand largely uncontested at the top. They’re on track to secure their fourth season victory, a feat achieved by only one other guild in Albion’s history. If they continue this momentum in future seasons, a fifth gem could follow. For now, the question isn’t who leads the standings – it’s whether anyone can still rise to challenge them.
  • Albion Asia: Season 31 began with Maharlika declaring they would take the top spot after last season’s heartbreak, when their second-place finish was sniped at the last moment. Surely it can’t happen again, right? For weeks, they looked uncontested. Then Summers, the Season 30 winners, launched an aggressive push, raiding and conquering Maharlika territories throughout the day. The gap is now under 90,000 Season Points. With the first-ever mid-season payout arriving this Invasion Day, the race is suddenly very real.

[h3]Watch it Live on AlbionTV[/h3]
Invasion Day is always volatile, but this one carries extra weight. The double-scoring phase begins as a newly introduced mid-season Energy Storage payout awards Season Points to the first guild that conquers a territory after reset. Tune in to twitch.tv/albiononline to see who reacts fastest and who can capitalize on the chaos:
  • Albion Asia: February 28, 14:00 UTC
  • Albion Europe: February 28, 18:00 UTC
  • Albion Americas: March 1, 01:00 UTC
This is where momentum shifts. See you on the battlefield!
