Behind the Banner: Agila

Behind the Banner is a series that shines a light on Albion's many diverse guilds, from fierce PvP warbands to tight-knit social communities. Each episode delves into the identity, playstyle, and goals of a different guild, offering a glimpse into what life is really like behind the banner.

 • Guild Name: Agila
 • Guild Leader:  Rafael
 • Date Founded: March 17, 2023
 • Size: 300 members
 • Primary Language: English / Tagalog
 • Server: Albion Asia
 • Discord: discord.gg/9DqjuCxrpA
Tell us about your guild.

Agila began as a guild focused on PvE and yellow-zone Faction Warfare. In the second week of the Albion Asia server, we placed our first hideout in Gravemound Hills. From that base, we started working toward our goal: to be as strong as Contingent, a guild we looked up to. Over time, we shifted our focus to small- and mid-scale PvP, developing a reputation for our kite-and-clap playstyle. Soon, other players began calling us strong castle defenders.

Why did you choose this name? Is there a story or meaning behind it?

When I first saw an ad for Albion Online, I decided to give it a try. After arriving in Fort Sterling, I spotted an eagle mount, and one of my lifelong dreams has been to ride one. That moment stuck with me, and when it came time to start a guild, I chose the name Agila, the Tagalog word for eagle. To me, it represents freedom, vision, and ambition.

What sort of activities do you focus on?

We focus on small- and mid-scale PvP using kite-and-clap comps. Brawling’s just too boring.

What sort of members are you looking for?

We’re looking for members who want to grow with us long-term and improve in PvP.

Where is your guild primarily located?

Gravemound Hills is our home. It was our first Hideout and has a lot of sentimental value. We picked it because it used to be a 10am map and almost nobody massed up at that time. As a small-scale guild, we couldn’t afford to fight the bigger ones, so we carved out our own spot.

Do you have any rivalries or ongoing quarrels with other guilds?

Our biggest quarrel was with One Gin. They evicted us from Gravemound Hills after Arirang paid them two billion Silver. After that, we joined their opponents in Albion Asia’s major coalition war. That gave us a new home and pushed us to up our game.

What are some of your most memorable battles or activities?

The Gravemound Hills war, no question. It was our first home, and we defended it against a full alliance: One Gin, TukTuk, and more. We had 400 deaths. Most of us were newbies or mobile players who just wanted to protect our homeland. We gave it our all but, ultimately, we lost. Maybe the map is called Gravemound Hills for a reason.

What does your guild do for fun?

Agila isn’t just a guild, it’s a community. We play other games together, do late-night podcasts, hold in-house scrims and tournaments in Albion, and sometimes just roleplay ingame.

What is your guild's approach to the game? Do you have any core values or beliefs that guide how you play together?

Agila does not tolerate toxicity ingame or on social media. We believe any form of toxicity can harm the guild’s reputation in the long run.

What are your goals for the future?

The goal is to be number one, not necessarily in rank, but as the number one Filipino guild on Albion Asia. For this season, we’re aiming for Rank 3. Of course, every guild dreams of winning the crown someday.

Anything else to share about your guild?

We have what we call an IRL CTA, where 30 to 40 members meet up, rent an Airbnb, and just hang out, whether it’s for the first time or to catch up. As I said, we’re more than just a guild, we’re a community.
Simply Divine
DIVINE OWL: This month's Challenge brings back this ghostly white flying mount with a brisk base move speed. Gear Up for the Midseason Invasion Day

With Season 28 hitting its halfway mark, familiar names have returned to the spotlight… but not always in familiar ways. Some guilds that ended last season on top have fallen silent, while unexpected forces are pushing to fill the power vacuum. This weekend’s Midseason Invasion Day could cement a new order, or spark the next great conflict.

Here's an overview of the current situation:
 • Albion Asia: From the very start of the season, guilds made their intentions clear, and they’re staying true to their word. Sunset declared they were going for the crown and have surged ahead with over 470,000 Season Points. Meanwhile, their coalition partner, Peony Flower, promised to take second place and now sits there securely. There’s been no shortage of action, with Hideouts being destroyed and tit-for-tat territory launches, but despite the skirmishes, the top two seem firmly in control… at least for now.
 • Albion Europe: On their way to their first ever victory, Woof Woof currently leads with over 330,000 Season Points, holding off fierce competition from the GIRTH and GLOBE alliances. Their grip on first place tightened after Worldwide, once just 5,000 points behind, disbanded. Meanwhile, FRIES, a new alliance made up of O M B R A, Crumbs, and Clean Kill, has emerged in the Outlands and is already launching raids. We’ll see if Woof Woof can defend against this new threat.
 • Albion Americas: Surprisingly, the season began on a quiet note: PIVAS declared their intent to take the top spot, and so far they’re delivering on that promise. With over 435,000 Season Points, they hold a commanding lead, while Upside trails far behind in second. But whispers of returning giants like IFures with Daliuess and FAX with Dazroun have stirred speculation. Will PIVAS cruise to a peaceful victory, or will these whispers erupt into all-out war?
Watch it All Live on AlbionTV
As double scoring kicks in, every fight during this Invasion Day could tip the balance. Luckily, the AlbionTV team will be following the action across all three servers, bringing you zone flips, surprise raids, and last-second defenses as they happen. Tune in to catch it all on twitch.tv/albiononline at the following times:
 • Albion Asia: August 2, 14:00 UTC
 • Albion Europe: August 2, 18:00 UTC
 • Albion Americas: August 3, 01:00 UTC
Be there to witness the turning point of the season. See you on the battlefield!

The Depths have opened, and players across Albion are diving in, chasing Souls, escaping collapse, and fighting tooth and nail for the final vault. But with so many moving parts, it's easy to miss some of the details.

That’s why we’ve put together a guide to the Depths: how to enter, how matchmaking works, what to expect on each level, and most importantly, how to get out alive!

Read it, share it, and if you’re already deep in the dungeon, maybe still check it before your next run. You only get one shot per entry… and the demons won’t hand out second chances.
