Hey everyone, we've got another exciting patch ready to be picked apart and broken!
I'd like to first start off with a little insight on why we chose our pricing model, because I've seen a few people get upset with it. When we were deciding on how we would handle the game, we knew we wanted to fit into the same slot as games like Ultimate Chicken Horse and Golf with Friends. We wanted to have a low cost of entry, so that friends can easily join in together without finances restricting them, we know what it's like when everyone is trying to get the same game and play with each other! We have structured our games so that the free version includes everything you need to enjoy the game from a foundational level. We then added flavor on top of this, this flavor is the Full Game DLC, it included a ton of cosmetics that could only be unlocked through buying the DLC along with access to all the shadows at once instead of having to wait for the free Shadow rotation. We've heard some outcry from this, we want to maintain the value for our Full Game owners but we also want to help keep free users invested in the game, with that being said we are unlocking 30+ items to be unlocked by free users. There are still a ton of items (this patch brings us to 170+ cosmetics) that can only be unlocked with the Full Game DLC but we feel that this is a fair trade. With that being said, we want you all to know we appreciate everyone for playing our game! Now to the cool stuff!

Collect Blessing orbs to cash in at a Blessing terminal! This will give you a temporary secondary ability as a Light Bear! You lose all orbs and your Blessing if you get tagged, so be careful! This is only available in Shadow Favored matches!

- Enabled 30+ items to be unlocked by free users.
- Added 4 new hats!
- Added 1 new ridiculous body color!
- Added 15 new chat colors!
- Added 14 new capes (if your country isn't there, let us know and we'll add it!)
- Added 3 new spray paints!
- Added 3 new victory songs!
- Added a star on Shadowpedia.
- Added the ability to mute people from the Tab Menu
- Added a crown in tab to show who is the host.
- Added a custom particle for a Shadow Bears respawn.
- Added Unreal Engines copyright that we forgot before, sorry Epic!
- Added an intro to shadow spawning, simple, but prevents instant tagging!
- Host no longer gets kicked for being AFK, instead will be moved to spectator and given a point penalty.
- Muting now removes previous messages.
- Added more ways to get points!
- Added score tracker on top right for you and the top player!
- Shifted point messages to top right!
- Added a penalty to points for falling off!
- Added a level cap at 150, each content patch from here on will raise the cap. If you're above this already, we will just keep you at your level.
- Added the final XP nerf starting 125
- Added a pak signature to detect if it's been tampered with
- Optimized a ton of networking stuff!
- Added a "bubble" around shadow bears to compensate for latency.
- Due to popular request, new players now have to play the tutorial before they can play a match.
- To stroke our Ego, it now plays an audio cue when a developer joins a match.
- Fixed a bug where bears played their fall sound twice.
- Fixed a bug where the "Press F" indicator wouldn't go away.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed bears to jump into the Light Pool from beneath
- Moved F1 key to bottom of screen
- Made dialog box take focus when it pops up.
- Clamped maximum Gamma input
- Fixed projectiles for both Imperator and Terror
- Fixed a few spots that the watcher was getting out of the map, there are a couple others that will get fixed when we find them!
- Pushed Light Bearers logo behind server browser
- Brightened the hole in Plagued Sewers
- Fixed a bug that was making it not load your volume settings properly
- Randomly capitalized some words in the changelist, ah well, it's too late to fix them!
- Added a few secret bugs for you to find, we'll call them easter egg features! Let me know in our discord if you find them! They're totally intentional, uh huh!
- Stuck my whole hand into a block of Jello...Wiggly!
