Users who already own A Light in the Dark can enjoy the game with professional Japanese voice actresses voicing the two main heroines of this game. Isn’t it about time to load up the game and enjoy the story of A Light in the Dark once more?

And for everyone who hasn’t picked it up yet, A Light in the Dark will on sale tomorrow at 10am with a 30% discount for one week to promote this major update!

Please Note: Since this update is based off of the console port, there are some things that users should keep in mind.

• After updating the game, you will be prompted on whether or not to copy over existing save data from the previous version of A Light in the Dark upon starting up the game
  
• If you don’t have any existing save data then this prompt will not appear upon startup
  
• The prompt to copy over existing save data will only appear the first time you start the game after applying the new update
  
• If you select ‘Yes’, the transfer process will start and you will be able to continue playing the game with your existing save data
  
• If you select ‘No’, the transfer process will not happen and you will need to start over with no save data

With the recent release of A Light in the Dark on console, a number of users have been wondering as to when the Steam/PC version will be receiving an update with the Japanese text and audio option. It is in fact coming but is being delayed due to ongoing projects that the developers are working on. We'll have more details as soon as we get them. Everyone's patience is greatly appreciated.

A heads up for those of you who missed the announcement, but the Japanese voice actresses, Yurika Kubo and Kana Ichinose will appear at Anime Central (May 19 - 21, 2023) this year. In addition, we will be showcasing a demo of A Light in the Dark with the Japanese voice update. If you are planning to attend this year, definitely come on out to see our guests as well as try out the new demo!
