WAR ROBOTS 7.4 UPDATE NOTES

Event: Retro Treasure Hunt
The event will start soon after Update 7.4 lands on your platform. The event task chain will be available in the Operations interface.

The past of our civilization hides many treasures. Become one of the adventurers who hunt for artifacts from the old world! Complete tasks to finish Operation Track E and get valuable trophies.

Here are some of the many artifacts you can find:

 • New Robot: Erebus
 • New Sniper Weapon: Prisma
 • New Drone: Barrel
 • New turrets: Aegis Blast system, Repair Blast Station, Laser Blast Cannon
 • Special Edition Robots and Weapons: Old Revenant, Prototype Toxin and Teremok Hel
 • Paint jobs: Serpent Revenant and Voltaged Erebus

Two new pilots are also waiting to meet you: Jad Parkes and Ricardo Gonzales. Tap on the "i" icon next to the event chest to see its reward pool.

New Robot: Erebus

A heavy robot made for middle and long distance fights. It has an impressively durable Aegis shield and can temporarily disable enemies with guided missiles.

Homing Blackout: Erebus fires four guided rockets that seek the target by themselves, dealing damage and temporarily disabling the enemy robot's systems.

 • EMP blocks the activation of an enemy abilities and active modules.
 • Lock-Down immobilizes an enemy.
 • Suppression reduces the enemy's damage by 50%.
 • DoT inflicts damage over time to the enemy's hull
New weapon: Prisma

A laser rifle for a heavy slot. Deals more damage at a greater distance. Very weak at point blank.

New drone: Barrel

Takes revenge on enemies for destroying your robot.

Barrel Explosion: This drone explodes when your robot is destroyed, damaging any enemies caught in the blast.

New Turrets

Three new turrets are available to improve your Orbital Support.

Aegis Blast system: A turret that applies the Aegis shield to your robot and your allies in a radius around you.

Repair Blast Station: A turret that repairs a portion of your durability and that of allies in a radius around you in a short period of time.

Laser Blast Cannon: A turret that deals major area damage after a short delay.

New pilots: Jad Parkes, Ricardo Gonzales

Jad Parkes is the best treasure hunter on Earth. This adventurous pilot often finds himself in extreme situations and loves being on the edge. He works in tandem with Ricardo Gonzales. The artifact hunting doesn't give Jad anywhere near as much pleasure as his rivalry with his partner and the adrenaline rush of victory. The Erebus he pilots became Jad's main trophy. Under his control, the damage from each of this robot’s missiles is increased to 5000.

Jad's Competitiveness: All of Erebus's built-in cannon missiles now deal 5000 damage

Ricardo Gonzales is a mercenary and artifact hunter. The treasures of the Earth fascinate him. His passion for archeology began with an old tape with the recording of the song his mother sang to him. He loves telling stories about artifacts he's found to his partner Jad. Ricardo doesn't share the risky tactical approach of his friend as he is convinced that it's better to act carefully and prudently. He tries to avoid fights and prefers to speed up his Revenant to escape the approaching threat.

Ricardo's Enthusiasm: Revenant gains additional move speed while the ability is active.

Treasure Hunt Community Challenge

Jed Parkes and Ricardo Gonzales are looking for artifacts on Earth, and you have a chance to get some of their trophies! Whose treasure hunt tactics are better? Choose the side of one of the adventurers and support him in battle by piloting selected robots. At the end of the event, we will compare the number of robots deployed for each pilot. The winning pilot and his supporters will receive a valuable reward. The losing side will receive a smaller one.

Follow the news on our official social media pages. There will soon be a special poll where you can support the pilot you like. We will also publish all details about the event there.

WAR ROBOTS 7.3 UPDATE NOTES

Event: Yaga Gang
The event will start soon after Update 7.3 lands on your platform. The event task chain will be available in the Operations interface.

Prove yourself in a company of recklessly brave mercs. Yaga Gang are soldiers of fortune who draw inspiration from stories of the past and always paint their robots in bright colors. Complete their tasks to finish Operation track "E".

The new rewards will include:

 • Motherships: Monarch, Mantis
 • New robot: Revenant
 • New weapons: Bane, Toxin
 • Special editions: Zmej Murometz, Zmej Bulava, Zmej Kisten
 • Paintjobs: Teremok Revenant, Hohloma Fafnir, Brave Orochi

...as well as pilots for Fafnir and Revenant and the new titan module — Titan Anticontrol. Tap on the "i" icon next to the event chest to see its reward pool.

Orbital Support
Available at level 30. Dreadnought available at start. Monarch and Mantis can be won in event chests.

The ships that transport your hangars are now ready to assist you in battle. Each useful action that you take on the battlefield helps calibrating the ship guns. The more active you are, the faster your Orbital Support becomes available. When you press the Orbital Support button, the ship delivers a devastating blast at your target's location.
Motherships

Dreadnought
(UNLOCKS AT LVL 30 FOR FREE) The universally used classics that allowed corporations to bring their military potential to humanity’s new home. Numerous Dreadnought crash sites can be found on Earth.

Ability: Creates an ionic storm at the location of your target with a short delay. Deals single-time damage to all enemy targets within the strike area.
Upgrades: Ability accumulation rate, Strike damage
Turret slots: OFFENSIVE
Monarch
A new generation of motherships designed with combat capabilities in mind. Monarchs usually outclass Dreadnoughts in terms of firepower.

Ability: Creates an ionic storm at the location of your target with a short delay. Deals single-time damage to all enemy targets within the strike area and applies damage over time to all targets hit.
Upgrades: Ability accumulation rate, Strike damage, Damage over time bonus
Turret slots: OFFENSIVE, DEFENSIVE
Mantis
Support ships that were designed to protect colonies from meteor rains with newly developed Aegis technology. Proved to be just as effective at shielding smaller targets.

Ability: Applies Aegis shield and repair over time to your robot and all allies near it.
Upgrades: Ability accumulation rate, Aegis power, Repair over time bonus
Turret slots: SUPPORT, DEFENSIVE
Turrets
Turrets improve your Orbital Support with additional effects. The effect triggers together with your ship's main caliber. The following Turrets are available in update 7.3:
 • Target Ray Cannon: Snipes the target with a laser beam after a short delay. Will not trigger if no target is locked on. The target cannot evade the hit.
 • Periodic Fix Station: Applies repair over time to all allies within the given range from your robot.
 • Aegis Self System: Applies Aegis shield to your robot. The shield remains active until destroyed.
Orbital Support aiming

The Orbital Support button becomes active as soon as you select a target. The enemy robot that is enclosed in the red frame is considered to be your selected target. The main strike of your Orbital Support will be aimed at its location. If you use manual lock-on, your "saved" target will have the priority over the target that is currently within your reticle.

New Robot: Revenant

A teleporting tank that can strike almost anywhere. This robot boasts superb durability as well as two lateral shields. Unlike other slow brawlers, Revenant doesn't fear being immobilized with lock-down or frozen. Its ability allows it to remove all negative effects, become temporary immune to them, and teleport to the spot in front of its target. Additionally, Revenant takes no "grey" structural damage from sound blasters as long as its ability is active.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Aggressive blink: Robot teleports to the point in front of the enemy, drops all negative effects, and activates modernized defense mechanisms. The robot receives immunity to DOT, SUPPRESSION, FREEZE, ROOT, BLAST, EMP, and also keeps the maintainability of its hull.

New Weapons: Bane, Toxin

Close range acid-throwers that melt hulls with aggressive chemicals and leave a lasting effect on the target that deals damage over time.

New pilots: Svyatogor Belov, Vasilisa Maximova

Svyatogor is the current leader of Yaga Gang, an extravagant group of mercenaries with a particular love for pancakes. A secret technology he got his hands on in the past makes his Fafnir a bane of all energy shield reliant builds. Has once been defeated by Vasilisa in a duel.

Svyatogor's Breach: Fafnir ignores energy shields during the flight.

Vasilisa is Yaga Gang's most valued player. She helped Svyatogor Belov dispose of the previous leader of the mercenary company by hosting a not-completely-fair missile shooting competition. Her stratagems are only matched by her bravery. She tweaked her Revenant so that she doesn't have to wait for support and now enjoys always being ahead of her team.

Vasilisa's Wisdom: Revenant restored a portion of its durability the moment its ability goes on cooldown. The amount of durability restored depends on the damage dealt while the ability was active.

The Moon map is back

The space-themed map with lots of geometry providing for perfect cover is once again available in map rotation. We've reworked it from scratch so that it's compatible with the Remastered version of the game. We've also introduced some notable visual improvements including reworked lighting and better textures. Vortex-type missile fans — it's your time!

WAR ROBOTS 7.2 UPDATE NOTES

Event: SpaceTech Fair

The event will start soon after the update 7.2 lands on your platform.

The SpaceTech Fair begins! Special activities and unique prizes await!

July 28, 2084 is the day when the first colony on Mars was founded. SpaceTech became pioneers of a new world. Today we are celebrating the Science and Technology Fair dedicated to them! SpaceTech brought their latest creation to show off and many legendary pilots arrived to celebrate. Let's have a look!

 • New Titan: Murometz
 • New Titan Weapons: Bulava, Kisten
 • New Module: Nuclear Amplifier
 • New Legendary Pilots: Manni, Raphael Petit, Dew Tompkins
 • New Drone and Microchip: Beak, On Damage Dealt: Damage
 • New Special Editions: Freedom Fafnir, Freedom Scadi
 • New Skins: Scavenger Loki, Scavenger Typhon

The event will also feature new skirmishes and series of quests!

New Titan and weaponry: Murometz, Bulava, Kisten

SpaceTech's creation raining terror from the sky. The lead SpaceTech engineer Daniil Maximov, the author of the good old Natasha and Vityaz, presents to you his ultimate creation — Murometz.

It is a Titan that can unleash a hard rain of missiles on your enemies. It also can disable robots’ abilities with its electromagnetic gun.

Bulava and Kisten are powerful medium-range multiple rocket launchers designed specifically for the Titan weapon slots. These missiles are capable of avoiding obstacles and are especially dangerous against slow opponents.

New module: Nuclear Amplifier

For every 20000 damage inflicted on the enemy, your robot receives a small damage boost for the entire battle. Upon reaching the maximum possible bonus, the robot recovers a part of its durability and its cannons receive additional defence mitigation.

Equipping several modules will make your robot accumulate bonuses faster, but will not increase the maximum number of bonuses.

New legendary pilots: Manni, Raphael Petit, Dew Tompkins

Manni

Manni loves going spectacular. As a pilot, he makes enemies feel like they've got an edge, and then strikes back with extra strength. Special Ability: Manni's Tactics. The robot receives a damage bonus. The robot also gets bonus damage for every 10% of the lost durability.

Raphael Petit

DSC Lead Design Engineer handles flamethrowers best of all. His favorites are Blaze, Igniter, and Ember. Special Ability: Petit's Wit. Flamethrower area of effect radius increased by 30%.

Dew Tompkins (Will be available in Operations)

A glorified Shell pilot. Dew learned to use Shell's explosions to suppress the enemies, which helped him find his freedom some time ago. Special Ability: Dew's Deception. Shell applies Suppression upon explosion.

New drone and microchip

Beak is your winged support at the forefront of the attack. At the first sign of danger, the drone is capable of using its built-in stealth system and defend your robot from direct enemy attacks. Built-in microchip: After taking the first hit on the battlefield, the robot gets the Stealth effect. This prevents enemies from targeting the robot for a while.

On Damage Dealt: Damage. Every 150000 damage dealt to the enemy, your robot gains a temporary damage bonus.

Titan rebalance

Sharanga

 • Durability: -10%

The efficiency of Sharanga has exceeded the originally conceived metrics. Designed as a sniper, Sharanga nevertheless became extremely useful in close combat. Reduced durability will bring this titan closer to its original concept.

Grom

 • Damage: -10%
 • Particle scatter: +15%
Squall

 • Particle scatter: +15%

Titan shotguns proved to be effective at both short and medium range. The nerf is intended to reduce the versatility of shotguns, making them harder to use at medium ranges.

Plated Armor Kit

 • Durability bonus: 27% → 20%
Antimatter Reactor

 • Durability bonus: 27% → 20%

The combined bonus to durability and damage allowed these modules to displace more situational modules like Cannibal Reactor and Self-Fix Unit. Reducing the durability bonus will make other options more attractive and hopefully lead to more variety in battles.

Arthur

 • Shield durability: +20% (767000 → 920400)
 • Durability: -20% (522600 → 418080)
 • Price: 450 → 400

Arthur now has more durability in total (when adding together its hull and its shield: 1,289,600 → 1,338,000), but relies on its shield more than before.

Nodens

 • Speed: -15% (50 → 43)
 • Resistance: -37% (160 → 100)
 • Resistance per ability activation: +20% (50 → 60)
 • Repair range: 600 → 700

Nodens is intended to work as a support titan. However, 4 beta slots make it a decent fighter. Afrter this rebalance, Nodens will have to stay away from the heat of battle, while retaining its ability to assist allies.

Gendarme

 • Damage: -10%
Striker

 • Damage: +10%
Krait

 • DoT damage: +10% (64→ 70)
 • Ammo: 60 → 80
 • Reload: 8 → 9
One extra level for robots and weapons

Fully upgraded items will be marked with yellow color (MK2 items are currently marked with green). Upgrading from 12 MK2 to the max level will cost around 1500 Au. To help everyone max out their arsenals faster, upgrade times for MK2 will be reduced by half. The extra level will increase the efficiency of your items by approximately 5%.

Returning map: Factory

Factory was updated and optimized for Remastered and is ready for action.

Boosters: clan/squad combat bonuses removed

To reduce power disparity between squadded and solo players we've removed the effects that boost combat efficiency for clanmates in your squad.

Note that the change does not affect resource boosters (they provide extra resources to clanmates just as before) and personal booster bonuses.

Third passive module slot for all Workshop robots

Just a small update that will be helpful in lower leagues.

Bug fixes
 • Fixed an issue when Orochi's speed after using its ability was incorrect
 • Fixed an issue causing Scourge to block projectiles
 • Fixed an issue due to which it was possible to leave the playable zone on the Dead City map.
 • Fixed an issue causing Scorcher projectiles to fly through the target
 • Fixed an issue causing Solid Gauss to miss a target at close range
 • Fixed an issue causing Jaeger to get stuck after spawning

WAR ROBOTS 7.1

Event: DSC Boot Camp

The event will start soon after Update 7.1 lands on your platform. The event task chain will be available in the Operations interface.

Set an example for raw recruits and win valuable rewards from the Oversight Committee:
 • New robot: Fafnir
 • New weapons: Snaer, Skadi, Hel
 • New drones: Persephone, Paralysis
 • New paintjobs: Shell, Orochi
 • Special editions: Orochi, Hades, Calamity, Spark

At some point during the event, DSC will stage the Gladiator Championship. If you’re sure of your battle worthiness and ready to bet some gold, don’t miss your chance.

Multiple Operations

Starting with this update, multiple Operations can be active simultaneously. You can decide which prizes you need the most and obtain Passes for the Operations of your choice.

You will find several reward tracks in your Operations interface. They include both free and premium rewards. To unlock premium rewards, you need to purchase the Operation Pass for that particular track.

Operation Experience obtained in battle counts towards all active tracks: when you win X experience in a fight, all your Operations lines get +X progress.

Purchased Operation Experience only counts towards one Operation track.

There are two types of Operations. Some Operations only receive progress from finishing battles, some only from completing tasks. The type of Operation is shown right above its experience bar.

New robot: Fafnir

Evolife's take on the flying Dragons, this particular robot is able to stay in the air for as long as it wants, using the same principle as the Shapeshifters. While on the ground Fafnir diverts it's power into increased defense mitigation, while in the air it activates an in-built weapon capable of dealing devastating damage to Titans.

Shapeshift The robot is free to switch between walking and flying, staying in any mode for as long as you need. While on the ground, it gets increased Defense and 4 weapon slots. In the air, the robot disables two of its weapon slots, enabling a built-in weapon that deals increased damage to Titans instead. It also activates an Absorber shield for several seconds when it starts to take off.

Absorber Impenetrable shield that can absorb an unlimited amount of damage.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

New weapons: Snaer, Skadi, Hel

Powerful energy weapons that damage enemies with a stream of cold-plasma particles. After a certain number of hits, the target freezes. Its movement speed is lowered and incoming damage is increased.

New pilots: Jack Moore, Johanna Flynn

Jack is one of DSC's most famous drill sergeants, as feared by raw recruits as he is respected by hardened veterans. His robot of choice is Strider.

Jack's Inspiration Strider receives a short-time damage boost after using its ability.

Johanna is a renegade DSC soldier, who now fights for one of the numerous merc groups. She’s usually seen piloting Fafnir.

Johanna's Conviction Fafnir repairs a portion of its durability upon landing.

New drones: Paralysis, Persephone

Paralysis is a real technological marvel. It has a gorgeous segmented tail and a powerful built-in generator that allows it to lock-down your enemies!

Lockdowner Gives all the robot's weapons the ability to Lock-down enemies.

Drawing inspiration from Demeter, Persephone is a compact version of the design created by Icarus Technologies to repair both you and your allies in battle.

Persephone's Repair Shooter This drone shoots energy particles at your allies to repair them. It also constantly repairs a portion of your durability.

New Microchips
Target-seeking Frost Shooter is a weapon chip that allows your drone to automatically attack targets within its firing range. This chip applies a certain amount of Freeze upon each hit. Remember that your drone starts firing only when you target an enemy.

Terminal Renovator restores a portion of your robot’s durability each time you destroy a target. This chip truly shines when you manage to go on a kill streak.

Microchip names updated

In this update, we've also streamlined the naming of drone microchips. Just as before, their names will include the condition part and the action part. The first one tells you what should happen for the chip to activate, the second explains what the chip does. However, the new names are much clearer. We've sacrificed fancy names for accessibility.

For example:
 • Recurrent Emergency Defender → On Low Durability: Defense
 • Arctic Defender → On Half Freeze: Defense
 • Inhibited Intensifier → While Lock-down: Damage
 • Revitalizing Intensifier → On Repair Unit: Damage

Fixed bugs
 • Fixed Orochi continuing to use wheels until the end of the fight after receiving critical damage to legs.
 • Fixed shield microchips only activating once during a battle.
 • Fixed Tsar not dealing damage when aiming at a target below.
 • Fixed rockets exploding before reaching their target.
 • Fixed the issue that caused the game to crash on the Abyss map on the Low graphics preset on certain devices.
 • Fixed the issue that prevented players from seeing clans in clan ranking if they have already joined a clan.
 • Fixed the camera angle on Warrior Typhon.

WAR ROBOTS 7.0

Also, check out our new hangar theme!
New map: Abyss
A powerful mining complex located over a gaping volcanic pipe. It belonged to the Defense and Security Conglomerate for decades, supplying natural diamonds to its Martian colonies. Now, other factions see an opportunity to send in mercenary squads and take over. With an artificially caused volcano eruption looming over the battlefield, Commanders are in for a fiery battle.

Teleports: Stolen Icarus technology adapted for production. Stationary teleport platforms will instantly relocate you to another part of the map.
New titan: Sharanga
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Designed by Yan-di corporation specifically for long-range battles, Sharanga is the first titan to operate three alpha slots at once. Its improved reactor allows for increased weapon damage, while its phase defense can temporarily neutralize enemies that come too close.

Full Power: The Titan increases its weapons damage.

Phase Exile: The Titan forces the enemy robot to slow down and lose the ability to deal damage, repair allies and capture beacons. However, it also makes the enemy invulnerable to damage and any negative effects at the same time.
New robot: Orochi
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Orochi combines a set of technologies from other factions, which were reproduced and optimized by SpaceTech engineers to create a versatile and deadly robot. It is an aggressive robot capable of moving at incredibly fast speeds which is protected by stealth technology. The robot has a built-in weapon with a long-lasting corrosive effect.

Viper Strike: The robot dashes, activates stealth and begins to move at an increased speed, firing corrosive projectiles at the enemy. The ability has 2 charges.

DoT: Deals recurring damage over time to the enemy's hull.

Stealth: Enemy guns cannot target your robot.
New titan weapons: Striker and Krait
Striker

A super-heavy long-range weapon which fires an energy impulse that bounces from one target to another. It also has a charge-up system: the longer you charge the weapon, the more powerful its shot.

Krait

An auxiliary energy machine gun for close and medium range. In addition to its high rate of fire and impressive ammo capacity, it also boasts a DoT effect: every round deals damage over time after hitting a target.
Drones rework
With this rework, we want to make drones more focused and simple to manage, both when you are making a build and on the battlefield. If you see a Wasp drone, you will always know that it's built to sting.

 • No more blueprints. Drones become unique units with specialized roles and predefined characteristics.
 • Each drone will come with a hard-set number of microchip slots that fit its combat role.
 • Each drone will have a unique role-based ability, which will be an enhanced built-in microchip at first.
 • Drones will have less microchip slots overall (meaning they will be cheaper to assemble), and microchips will be more powerful.
 • All microchips will cost 25% less gold.

For a full explanation of this rework, please read this article. You will also find the full details of the microchip rebalance included in the tables at the end of the article.
Gameroom migration
With Facebook Gameroom shutting down this summer, you can now transfer your War Robots progress from Gameroom to either Steam or MY.GAMES. You will also receive a 500 Au bonus for choosing MY.GAMES.

If you play on Facebook Gameroom, you will see a pop-up window when you enter the game which will prompt you to transfer your progress. There will be a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this available in the game menu, but just in case, we'll also explain it here.

To tansfer you progress:

 • Open the main Settings of the game and scroll down to the "Distribution Platform" section.
 • Click "Account Transfer".
 • Copy your temporary ID.
 • Launch War Robots on Steam or MY.GAMES.
 • Open the main Settings on Steam or MY.GAMES and click "Account Transfer" again.
 • Paste your temporary ID and confirm your decision by clicking "Transfer Account".

Your account will be transfered from Facebook Gameroom to the platform you chose. It will no longer be available on Facebook Gameroom.

Important: Do not share your temporary ID with anybody. You might get your account stolen if you do.
Balance changes
Devastator, Havoc, Scatter
 • Reload interval: 1.25 → 1.5 sec
 • Damage: -10%

Close-range builds have a clear advantage over medium-range at the moment. With this nerf, we want to give more space to those who prefer shootouts at a distance.

Hellburner
 • No self-damage on ability explosion

This mechanic has been in the game for quite a while already. With the release of Shell which doesn't receive any self-damage, it started to feel out of place. We have buffed Hellburner by streamlining its ability to be like the one Shell has.

Minor buffs

As always, there's also a list of minor buffs aimed at reinvigorating gameplay in lower leagues:
 • Hover: +10% durability
 • Vityaz: +10% durability
 • Schutze: +7% durability
 • Corona: Reload interval 2 → 1.8 sec
 • Gust and Halo: +10% damage
 • Raven: 20 → 18 sec ability cooldown
 • Griffin: 25 > 22 sec ability cooldown
 • Ao Qin: 50 → 52 km/h maximum speed
Bugs fixed
• Fixed the Ao Jun flamethrower ability remaining active after landing or not activating during flight.
 • Fixed the issue with the hangar scene not loading when launching the game on older devices.
