The World Rebalance Update

We're happy to share our latest major update!

The World Rebalance Update addresses general user feedback we've received regarding enemies' constant and sometimes overpowering attacks, as well as the redistribution of resources to improve gathering strategies and encourage exploration. This update also ensures a smoother onboarding for new players!





Other quality of life features of this update include:

  • Introduced Task Log
  • Stamina consumption when parrying rework
  • When building, the game will fetch resources from nearby chests
  • Added elemental status: frost, poison and fire
  • Antenna vision improvements
  • Added world settings sliders to tune enemies spawning chances
  • Bug fixes

Smalland: Survive the Beta!

In order to improve our game as much as possible, we've decided to make a major update to Smalland's balancing world.

And to achieve the best possible changes, we'd like to get you involved and hear your feedback! That's why we're officially announcing the immediate availability of the beta test branch on Steam!

How do I get in?

It's very simple:
1) Go to your Steam library
2) Go to the game properties
3) In the “Beta” tab
4) In “Beta test programs"
5) Select ”public_test"
6) Close the window, an update is launched and you're ready to play!

What do you need to do?

• Please start fresh with a new character and focus on testing the early game areas: the Oak Forest and the Stone Shore areas.
• Please fill in the feedback form - as a token of gratitude, we will be happy to add your name/pseudonym in the game credits (link to the survey below).

It's very important for us to give you access to this content before the update becomes generally available. We need as much feedback and advice as possible to ensure that old and new players alike have a pleasant experience when playing the game.

What does this new beta bring?

Here's a list of the current improvements:
  • Reorganized resources and enemy encounters in Oak forest and Stone shore to improve overall gameplay experience;
  • Reworked onboarding path making it more accesible for beginner players;
  • Added Quest log;
  • Reworked elemental damage system;
Exclusive rewards are available for each participation (more to come).
